yesterday I had my first experience with cannabis with a high CBD content (small dab of BHO) and I have to say that I was really impressed. being really stoned but without that much of mindfuck and no anxiety whatsoever was really pleasant. CBD strains will have a bright future imho ^^
 
Its sad that i probably wont get any before the year is up.

I agree. High cbd is where it's at. So much more chill and enjoyable. Soon I can pick and choose weed again. ?

Hang in there llama. If you need something man let me know. After getting clean there can be a lot of guilt. It takes time to process things sober.

Plenty of ladies out there dog. Keep your head up. Don't let old shit hold you back. Its in the past. Got to keep it moving.

Nice man! I'm thinking I should take a booze break too, it's like, every time I do band stuff I end up drinking, but recently that's been very nearly every day. Whenever I hang out with my girl I don't drink, since she rarely wants to. But it's always fun and my friends are always doing it, so I end up doing it a lot. And she's out of town for 2 months (it's been like 1 month so far).

Because no one has reliably been able to try it yet, and there really isn't a lot of information. I hear it's going to be available soon so at that point we will definitely make one.

We played a show last night, 4th in 8 days. We don't have another for 2 weeks, which is cool, I could use a break from that and we can just jam and work on new material.
 
I have this huge crush on a girl who's in a relationship. I wish I could be just friends with her but it hurts :(
 
Ah man, that sucks. :\

I'm needing to go work out and get some stuff to fix something on my roof, but I'm having difficulty finding the motivation. So tired from all the stuff I've been doing, and I had a chance to sleep in today but for some reason I woke up at 9 even though I went to bed at 5-ish, and couldn't fall back to sleep.

Yeah okay, of cause :) But it's actually been available from the largest EU vendor since Help?! started this thread. The only reason I didn't buy any yet, is because they didn't stock blotters yet but only powder. If I get impatient enough, I might have to buy 10 mg.

Anyway, there are people here who tried it in the 70'ies, Toltec for instance, and they'd might post in the thread if it was there. ALD-52 really is both a iconic and famed drug. It should be in the index, because I'm sure some one will have something to say about it ;)
 
Llama, mate, that actually hurt to read :( if it weren't for the few thousand miles between us, I'd love to give you a big nohomo hug. I think you deserve it, and definitely need it by the looks :(

Nice, Thorns. :) Yeah pipe organs are amazing. I played one once (not very well).

We had a great band practice last night, we learned 2 new songs and got some pretty good recordings of them. Feels good to get to a point where you can learn new songs in a night and sound pretty good. Then we did a jam that was just epic and beautiful, I'd post it now but we have some vocal stuff to cut out first.
 
Been wanting to learn guitar for years. Finally bought one. Depression that hurts so bad ya just want nothing more than to die. Said fuck it let me do some shit I've been wanting to do for a while instead.

Bought a guitar and a tent. Fuck you winter depression

coming from 15 years experience with depression and 12 years experience playing guitar -- playing music is one of the best treatments for depression. even if you suck at first, just be loud and let it all out until your fingertips crack open. catharsis to the core.

this website http://www.looknohands.com/chordhouse/ helped me a lot when i first started, learning chords and scales. might seem like greek at first but play around with it.

glad to see that site is still around, has been online in that form since like 2003 at least. :) memories...
 
I'll just say that learning your scales and chords is probably the most important fundamental. It takes some work but once you know your scales, you can can play along to anything because you know which notes will work in any given key. I was able to pick up new styles of music and start jamming right away when I started playing again even though it had been 12 years since I last played, because of all the work I did with classical piano and music theory when I was younger. My fingers remembered the scales instinctively and mentally I could never forget those.
 
and the cool thing is, once you learn scales and chords on one instrument, you have a solid foundation to pick up anything else. xorky is primarily a keys man, but i bet you he could play a C Major scale on a guitar. :)
