I get similar results with lower doses, have gone as low as 10mg and had pretty bad headaches
... but something tells me it's 2C-D that is giving me the headaches and not just a bad batch.

Yeah sounds like it might not agree with you, too bad. I wonder how common this is?

re:5-MeO-MiPT

it's is an odd one, I think I like it but it's weird. I find it pretty wiring and edgy. I've only done it once or twice at a full dose, but a bunch of times at like 1mg kind of range, sort of microdose, which I really liked it for. I'm not sure how safe this one is to microdose chronically, but it gives a good mild stimulation and general turnedupness. I feel like I'd be perfectly fine to never try it again if it disappeared, but it's certainly interesting, and I'll be happy to test it out some more.

Yeah it is a great one for microdosing. I find it too edgy sometimes, also the come-up of a full dose is always edgy and uncomfortable for me but if I channel that energy it turns into a beautiful feeling, it certainly does have a push to it so not the best for all situations but great for what it's good for.

Life contains pain, but it is far more than just pain.

I agree. Although I could even say that life is both pain and pleasure simultaneously -- that they are not separate from one another. Like back and front; light and shadow. Which is exactly what you suggest when you question whether we could appreciate pleasure without pain. :)

^ You already do, since there is no such thing as embracing pleasure without embracing pain, just as there is no such thing as pushing on a wall without the wall pushing on you. :) But yeah, it's hard to accept all the negativity in the world, and I don't think I'll ever get there 100%... although it's one of the most rewarding things I've ever experienced, when I do make progress towards that end.

What's the difference between this and the social thread? Is this where we go to make shitposts when we're high as fuck?

It's supposed to be more for high posting or talking about drugs in general vs general socialness or talking about our lives, etc, but there is a lot of spillover and it doesn't matter. We created another social thread in an attempt to attract more people to participate who maybe felt shy about the other thread. There's really no rules about it. I'd say that I go to the regular social thread when trying to share something or vent or talk about my day or whatever, and I go to this one when I want to talk about tripping. Seems like that's mostly how it goes but since there is a lot of crossover in participants there is plenty of spillover between threads.

^Yep. I come here to talk about drugs, talk about general life stuff in the other one. No formal rules though :)

Machine learning and robotic vision could present a challenge to drugs-by-mail if LE and the postal systems got organized enough. Technology is already at the point where the LE could place a few orders from all of the different vendors, train the mail bot on the received packages (using pattern recognition on things like packaging, labelling, return address, etc), and then get the machine to scan every single envelope that comes through. This is something that's impractical for humans to do, but wouldn't be an issue for machines, just maybe expensive. Vendors could adapt by constantly switching packaging and return addresses. Maybe this is already happening.

Do you mean robotic vision or OCR? I don't think you need machine learning with OCRing return addresses, i assume OCR is already used and it could just come up with a match with records which does not require learning and would just be like a background check in the data systems of law enforcement. I think therefore sloppy handwriting may be a red flag because OCR fails. There are various reasons why automatic processing may fail and you can ship something for a higher rate if you know that it does not fulfill requirements for automatic processing or can tolerate the pretty rough sorting machines (which can crush seeds for example).

On the other hand if you would use scanning of packages in bulk via x-ray among other things and would feed that video stream through an LSTM network (like deep dream which are now very fascinatingly being used for various things like learning bach's music or interpretation of images which is what would be used. You would need to train that network using countless examples of what is and what is not contraband material. Some things may even then be indistinguishable from harmless lookalikes so I guess it would still require checking for other red flags to further narrow down what gets personally inspected (for which very limited resources are available)... but should still massively boost their efficiency.
For some of these LSTM sort of applications, next generation computers may be required though I guess..

I can't wait until these sorts of AI-like methods are applied to the real big problems in this world :) I fear for privacy though... it's already close to dead but I hardly think there are enough resources to investigate or prosecute smaller fish right now, but I would hate some kind of world where you pretty much couldn't get away with smaller things that don't really bother other people and would get automatic punishment or something. I'd be fine on the other hand if it would become incredibly hard to get away with something like murder.

I was thinking about robotic vision - not sure if I'm using the term correctly, what I mean AI powered computer analysis of packages using visual data, with OCR as one of the inputs, and also looking at other details like the envelope. The neural net would be trained to identify packages containing drugs by training it on actual orders from known vendors. You're right that it would need a lot of samples to train, maybe not practical, maybe it would be.

I hadn't thought about bulk x-raying and using AI vision to ID packages. That would make a lot of sense.

Yeah it's hard to imagine how this emerging AI technology will shape our lives into the future. In my opinion it will radically change our world.

Yeah I violate Newton's laws all the time, to me they're more like guidelines.

One time in college, I suddenly halfway woke up with the full belief that my window that was right next to my bed was an immensely massive stone slab that was leaning in and about to fall and obliterate my ex and I. In sheer animal panic, I sprang up and gripped the window frame and used every muscle in my body to push back against it. It was so completely terrifying, I was SURE I was about to die, no matter how hard I pushed it was slowly falling in on us. My ex woke up and was like, what are you doing? It's okay, what's happening? Apparently I had the most intense look of terror on my face. She snapped me out of it and I was like, uh... whoa, that was weird, and I fell back to sleep. The next morning every muscle in my body hurt so much, I could barely get out of bed. I looked at the window frame and I left significant finger indentations in the wood I was gripping/pressing. I think what happened was that I did that thing that you can do with enough adrenaline, I unlocked the full potential of my muscles for a perceived life-saving action. Look it up, it's how there have been cases of mothers lifting cars up to save their children from being crushed. Normally we are only able to use our muscles up to a certain percentage of their actual potential strength.

Something like that happened with my cousin and I when we were kids. We lifted a quad off of our other cousin who was stuck under it. Afterwords we were unable to repeat the feat, but at the time we didn't even think about it and just popped it up. Pretty crazy what we are capable of, really shows how much potential there is. Although we'd probably injure ourselves if we went into hulk mode all the time.

Yeah actually one time I was riding a quad, the only time actually, and I hit a dip you couldn't see in the field and ended up on my beck with the quad falling backwards on to me. I lifted my legs and shoved as it came down on me, it popped back up really hard and slammed back on the ground right-side up in front of me. It felt effortless at the time, it was one of those slow-motion moments. The next day my legs really hurt. Damn I forgot all about that until you mentioned quads. :)
