Okay, today is the last day I have patience for this. I need to get back to normal life, I need to start fixing up my house and getting new furniture, I can't pause everything for longer after today. This has dragged on far longer than is reasonable and it's unacceptable that you would tell me you were coming back and instead leave it unfinished when you only had a little bit left to do, leaving me wondering when you're going to show up,and in limbo. And you won't even tell me when you'll be back or if you're even still in town. It's extremely rude to me, and I have been considerate of you every step of the way for the last 4 and a half years. If the situation were reversed, you would certainly want to know when I was coming back to your house.

So, after today I will be locking my house and putting the alarm on. I will put your remaining things in the garage/carport so you can get them.

You also never signed the property settlement agreement like you agreed to. If you don't do that you leave me no choice but to have my lawyer server you with papers and go to court.

If you're still in town, you should come get the rest of your stuff today, before 6. And we could also go to a notary and get the papers signed and save us both a lot of money and hassle. Your choice.

I was starting to get really nervous, though, about her showing up randomly when I'm gone. The front door doesn't stay shut well, even when locked you can push it open. And all the other doors, none of the keys the previous owner left me work. But, just now I tried all the keys I was left in all the doors and I found one that works! I am going to get a length of 2 by 4 and some brackets, and make a barrier against opening the front door from the inside, and then lock all the other doors including the door I go out. I have no idea how long I have to worry that she might show up... it's creepy but true. So I feel much better now that I have a solution in place. She won't be able to get in unless she breaks a window or something, which would get her arrested so I doubt she'd do that.

Then maybe once she actually gets served with papers, she'll realize I'm serious and that she'll have to show up at multiple court hearings 700 miles away from where she lives, and she'll have to get a lawyer and go into debt, and she'll just sign the agreement and we can avoid that. Or worst case scenario, we go to court and she will likely not get much of anything because of various reasons. So either way I have my bases covered.

Yeah. She does still technically own the place. She's a fucked up person. Well, she's getting served Monday, and I'm gonna give her 10 days to get the rest of her shit or it's going to the dump. It's just a bunch of semi-moldy clothes and knick knacks at this point that are left. She left it all here just so she could say "I won't sign the papers, I don't have all my stuff yet" and keep a hold over me. Fuck that! I'm makin' moves.

I had my DUI court date today. Got sentenced: to pay $700, 48 hours of community service, 1 year unsupervised probation. Pretty much exactly what my lawyer told me would happen. Cool I guess. They assigned me to work at Goodwill for the community service.

Working at Goodwill? It'll be chill, but I doubt I'll enjoy it. They didn't give me an option... it's like, why are you funneling all the community service into a fake non-profit that already is able to have sub-minimum wage labor? They should be getting people to help with soup kitchens and shit. Weird. But yeah it'll be easy, so I'm glad for that. Way better than picking up trash on a roadside crew or something (but again, less valuable to society).

Waiting for my friend to pick me up, we're heading to a local music festival, getting in for free as VIPs of our friend's band.

a lot of the memes going around about how bad Goodwill is are false. the stuff about Goodwill being awful has been going around since the early 2000s as chain emails, and the info that it says has changed a bit at a time over the years. in truth, 87% of their revenue goes towards community programs and services. 87% is a damn good number compared to a lot of other NPOs.

they're really not so bad, it's crazy that such a false criticism has been going around so much for so long that just about everyone believes it. even a lot of my most open minded friends pass along these false criticisms of Goodwill. blows my mind, sucks for Goodwill.

Fuck, my employer just informed me that we're switching to hair testing. I'm going to pop hot for cannabis and maybe subs/methadone/benzos that I haven't used for MONTHS! What was even the point in getting clean!?

I can't afford it because if I do it goes on my record forever and I won't be allowed to do my job for 2-3 years. This is bullshit, the Government only requires UA but they're doing UA and hair test because it's the new company policy. They're also putting cameras inside of all the equipment, equipment that I sleep/live in for months on end and regularly have to get nood in. I was looking forward to going back to work but now it looks like I'm going to have to quit this company and go through training with another one in 90-120 days. However long it takes the cannabis to clear my system.

I fucking hate living in this shit hole. It's like they want me doing drugs. Every time I think I'm about to get ahead again something like this comes a long to fuck me over.

Man Headphones, that sucks. It never ceases to amaze me how much places even care if people use drugs. But alcohol is always fine. So dumb.

I've got a random drug test coming soon. I just got back from a music festival, I did LSD and alcohol so no problems there. But my ex now appears to want to go to court. I was reading about divorce court last night and it started to make me anxious, and I was already feeling really worn down and exhausted and strange post-festival. As I laid in bed I started getting a panic attack feeling starting. It started to get unbearable and eventually I said fuck it, I'm freaking out, I tried to shake it for an hour or so with no success, and took some etizolam. Which worked like a charm, but it's possible that today will be the drug test. I was reading a bit and it said the most common drug test is the standard 5-panel which doesn't include benzos. And etizolam is a thienodiazepine anyway, though I doubt it would matter. So I dunno, I guess we'll see. If I fail it for a benzo I'd just tell him the truth, that I was having a panic attack and needed to interrupt it. They won't kick me out or anything, in fact he said it's common for people to fail early on. I still hope I don't though.

Do you have a lawyer? You can refuse a drug test.. just accuse your partner of being on drugs. Fight to have you BOTH tested for drugs at the same time. Blood test. Refused it unless he takes it too. It'll take some time so do it now. If you don't have a lawyer, find someone who will take a % of the winnings, not charge per hour. You might find someone--- maybe early prelaw degree students. Go to craigstlist. Do what you have too.

Most proceedings are "scare tactics". They threatened to search my mom's house, IRS her business, take all her "belongings". "drug test her", etc... to prove she was an "unfit mom". Guess what? They didn't do ANY of that.....

There was 2 million + on the line.

It's not about the divorce, it's because I got a DUI and I'm in an alcohol treatment group. And they do random drug testing, and I haven't had my first one yet. Totally unrelated.

My ex-wife has little money, and is batshit nuts. She was quite emotionally abusive, and also threw a stoneware plate at my head (I had to dodge or it would have hit me and it shattered into dozens of pieces against the wall), put a bloody gash next to my eye with her fingernails, and once told me she was a breath away from murdering me with a kitchen knife. I have plenty of character witnesses. She also left me, not vice versa, after telling my friend she had feelings for him while we were still together, and moved out of the house, and left all her stuff here, and ignored all of my attempts to get the divorce going or to get her stuff for the last 5 years (phone/text records can prove that - she also said over and over again that she doesn't want alimony or any part of my house and only wants what was already hers, also on the phone). Also she never put a single cent into the house, or worked at all, and we have no kids. She also never paid a cent towards the cats or ever fed them or did their litterbox or anything. I think I have a really strong case but there are things she could say too, such as me being addicted to opiates (but that's long in the past now). Also one time during a fight I got so overwhelmed I screamed at her and punched the refrigerator and broke my hand which probably looks bad. On the other hand, we've been separated as long as we were married already.

Don't want to say but I'll put it this way: technically I take two tests and one of them is for the DOT. You can probably guess my job based on that and my last post.

With my job even alcohol use is looked at and they're very strict. Doesn't bother me because I don't drink unless I'm hanging out with my father at his house and that's pretty rare (he drinks every night though).

I managed to get in touch with my boss to ask about this and he's going to try to get me waved this time but I'll be expected to take a hair test at some point soon assuming he's not lying to me. Looks like I'm shaving it all off again. Hopefully they wait 6 months because if it isn't 1.5 inches by the time they do test me they'll take my body hair and I'm really fucked then.

I live in texas and I know they are raping the fuck out of west/south texas for oil sands and shit. Dudes with no skills making $30k in a few months. I have been thinking about trying to do something like that. I could stop smoking for a piss test, but for a hair test I'd be fucked. I'd probably kill myself before I got clean.
