PCP (what does it look like) Technical question

Wait a minute.

I am not talking about the solution, I am reffering to the actual pure liquid PCP before its put in the other liquid carrier.

Im referring to the actual liquid PCP before its prepared as a solution with a solvent.

So what would the pure liquid PCP look like if it were not put in a solution. Is that a more of a oily liquid than the solution itself?

ok now you have a palatable question that is less vague than before.

Take pretty much any organic freebase product dissolved in organic solvent. As you strip off the solvent the solution will thicken. When all the solvent has been removed you will have a toffee like brown goo that is your compound. The freebase may even appear colorless in extreme cases. The consistency can be alikened to super glue that has not yet set. If you apply an ultra strong vacuum then the thick goo may go puffy and form a foam like froth. You can then dissolve this in your chosen solvent. Cyclohexane is my selection but as to concentration I dont know.

So your saying that pure liquid PCP or Phencyclidine (freebase)pretty much resembles like thick glue? And is the color yellowish or colorless and transparent?

And so they add this glue-like liquid to chosen solvent, right?

questions...

When PCP is synthesized the net product is liquid. It is almost [currently] never converted to powder, which would necessitate dissolving it in solution [carrier] as some people here seem to think. The net product is the same viscosity as most other chemical solvents [picture acetone since it seems to be on peoples minds].

In the early 80s when it was being sold in a powder form as THC it was simply gassed from the liquid. Now,nobody takes the time or expense to do that added step.It also takes some extra know how.You would be suprised how simple it is to synthesize.Powdering your net though, takes a little bit more knowledge than most bathroom cooks have.

When you are buying liquid PCP [as I alluded to in my previous post] ,you are essentially buying "pure" PCP [in as much as any illicitly synthesized compound is pure].I have never heard of anyone adulterating the liquid form, although it could easily be done as with any other solvent.

When its placed on an inert carrier [parsley or mint] it is almost always sprayed on it with an atomizer in a weak attempt at uniform distribution.

So once again, the freebase PCP would almost resemble an oil but lighter right? And what about the color?

Yeah there has been far too much emphasis on cuts lately. To be honest all this talk on formaldehyde and ether I find quite revulsive. These chemicals really are quite hazardous. If anyone has some strong dope that they need to cut down for safety reasons please use a simple nontoxic white powder. Other 'agents can be used to maintain a pharmaceutical odour but some of the stuff that has been getting posted is starting to look downright irresponsible.

^^^What the hell is this (the expert is at it again)? We are talking about "wet" pcp here, and with wet you cannot use "use a simple nontoxic white powder". It is fact that wet is diluted in ether, form, and whatever is handy. Some people (dealers) think formaldehyde makes its "stronger", and its found in alot of samples. PCP should be left alone and sold as made, but it is often diluted.

To be honest all this talk on formaldehyde and ether I find quite revulsive. These chemicals really are quite hazardous.

Ether is relatively benign if it is lab grade, not the shit from starter fluid that contains the carcinogen benzene. But otherwise, ether, aside flammability issues, is a good solvent or something to dilute the freebase PCP (people are going to dilute it, as money is involved), as say if you dip it in a cigarette, the ether will mostly evaporate if you give it some time before you light up (definately better than PCP diluted in form). The formeldahyde "cut" definately poses a greater problem, but people still think it makes the PCP stronger. But the sweet smell that you may notice from wet is definately ether, as ether is very sweet smelling...

I really didnt know angel dust was so scarce (from what ive heard here), as its the most common form of PCP that i have had experience with. I prefer it over the wet, out of fear of formeldahyde, benzene contaminated ether, and it doesnt feel as dirty to me (not that i would turn down wet, unless i smelled formeldahyde). The dust is quite potent and you can tell if its cut, as the crystals are very distinguishable from potential cuts (especially under a microscope). Strangely, the dust isnt THAT much more expensive than the wet (at least in my area), but it is more expensive nevertheless. I thought dust was prevelant on the east coast, but from what i hear its not. I know it takes an extra step to make it, but so does heroin #4.

Almost all PCP [and analouges] in the U.S.A. is manufactured on the WestCoast in L.A. County.A unique aspect of its manufacture is that almost all "labs" are ran by American blacks as opposed to almost all other labs which are ran by whites [although Mexicans are moving in on meth.].

Perhaps this is why i can find dust more easily that others. It is definately an african-american dominated market, as when you drive into certain parts of compton and watts (places police dont even dare to go), you can smell them cooking the PCP. And in regards to mexicans and meth labs, they arent moving in on meth, they HAVE moved in on meth and subsequently the price has dropped and crystal meth has become very prevelant in southern california. But some PCP cooks do go the extra step to make dust, as it is definately not difficult to obtain (though more difficult than wet).....

Ok, the pictures that I have been viewing of liquid PCP, is that the Freebase version or the diluted version.

I just want to know what the freebase looks like. Does it look like a resin or a gummy type substance?

And what color is the final freebase PCP?

I have no further corrections to instate in my above scriptures.

However, I do have something to say on the use of formaldehyde. This is a gas and is therefore sold as a 40% aqueous solution (unless paraformaldehyde is to be used). Formaldeyde is not only a carcinogen but also a mutagen. It binds to celluar DNA. I would not feel comfortable in learning that my products had been diluted in this chemical.

Ok, wait a minute. Please.

All I know, is that the Hydrochloride form of Phencyclidine is infact comes in a powdered form known as "angel dust" AND NOT the freebase liquid form.

So,

PCP Hydrochloride = Powdered form
PCP freebase with or without the solvents = is the Non-Hydrochloride form

more questions...

Hydrochloride is a salt [i.e. powder]. Anytime you see hcl. [hydrochloride] affixed to a label you can rest assured that it is a powder.

"Angel Dust" might have originally been applied to P.C.P. in the 60s because most was powder back then. Now it is almost always liquid but the name has stuck. It is all "Angel Dust" now.

more on dank...

Yeah that powder is scarce Negro but then you live in California so its right in your backyard. The only powder left from what I can see is made by Mexicans around San Jose. The feds have not busted a powder operation in years. The problem with formaldehyde is that PCP and embalming fluid share many of the same constituents [bromobenzene,ether,methanol-although with PCP it is usually replaced with white gasoline] so that it assays the same [unless done thoroughly] and definitely smells the same.

Embalming fluid is some nasty stuff but you cannot argue against "common knowledge."People are convinced that they gain something from it so it will continue to be used.

To the kid who was asking about its appearance [I believe it was the author of this thread]...in liquid, unadulterated form it is piss yellow and like olive oil. Here in my hood you can get a liquid ounce for 350 bucks [man I miss the 80s]...

Negro:You are right about the Mexicans being a major presence in methamphetamine. They are some crafty folks [my ex is from Nuevo Leon],who would have thought about purposely coloring crank to trademark it?Personally,I have not touched the stuff since P2P went by the wayside.Man,that was some nasty shit going up-what a drip!It was never real big inside the city, just the suburbs...Mostly bikers [still is inthe NorthEast] like the Pagans or The Breed...nasty wet white or yellow grainy powder...Now,it is all over the city.It is huge in the gay community but its only dealt in gay bars and whatnot.I did try yaba in Malaysia which is methamphetamine with other additives, but I smoked it.

Just here again to confirm the facts.

Pure PCP (freebase, before it gets dissolved) is like epoxy glue and it is yellow, right?

and the solution (after the freebase) gets dissolved, is a yellowish oily liquid with a ether-like odor?, right?

I saw the photos of two Gatorade bottles filled with liquid PCP and I would like to know if thats the freebase version or the dissolved version of liquid PCP?

I dont see what the problem in comprehending this is.

Pure pcp oil is water white, relatively pure is piss yellow, average pcp is toffee like, brown stuff is not so good.

If you had only the pcp in a rbf, after you stripped off ALL the solvent it would thicken in consistency and go from a viscous liquid, to a glue or toffee like consistency, then turn into a sort of foam.

The stuff in gatorade bottles is freebase pcp...

I just looked at my big bottle of Canola Oil and it does resemble PCP. Now correct me if Im wrong.

Does it actually look like Canola Oil or Olive Oil?

PCP is NEVER talked much about here so I had never had the chance to see what its physical properties are.

I smoked sherm once, it was really weird but kinda cool. I know my dad and his buddies used to smoke it sometimes too.
I was watching a movie called "colors" the other night and the gangsters in where always dusted and smoking sherm.
Sorry i really dont know much so this post of mine doesnt really mean shit, but just thought id comment on it.

i got some brown powder sold to me as pcp, it does smell like sharpie markers or something like the above poster says. when u smell it its like a chemically bug spray, really strong scent. i can smell it threw my pants right now. plasticy kind of.

A guy in my HS sold it, I suppose it was the HCl salt. It was a slightly off white, sticky powder.

Not my thing. I'd swap a freight car full for a blast of good crank...
