Parents dob son in for drug dealing

Having personally met greg and his family, he is in an amazing place right now he has learnt a great lesson and from what i can see is very thank full for his parents making the gut wrenching decision to ultimatly help him in a time of darkness were he could not escape what he had become..

I've said similar things like that to keep my parents happy, and my parents have said similar things to keep other people happy too.
Unless you are very close family I highly doubt you would know much about the situation because the last thing they would be doing is telling people about this.

this may not be the case for everyone but any parent who loves there child enough to stand by them thru this sort of ordeal and get him back on the right track deserves applause not bad mouthing..

If he was using and struggling with addiction then this applies. If not.. they almost put their son in jail. And he should have been if not for any reason but to teach his parents what jail does to people. You do NOT want any one you care about going there, plus now he has a major prior, any other criminal offense will be punished harder.

they were not vicious people who wanted there son to be punished, but loving parents who new there son was over his head and saved him from being caught in the long run with a much worse off sentencing

Again if it was just dealing they could have talked to him and told him to stop. Many dealers do just stop when they're ahead, they don't have to keep dealing.

for those of u stating ' invading privacy raiding his room... it was there home ... it was there son... it was illegal behaviour GROW UP ! u are clearly not a parent and if u are u need a gud look in the mirror

It was/is HIS home too. Do you mind me/or even your parents going through your every possession? Looking over all of your financial records? Knowing every detail about your relationship?

'feel sorry for this bloke, his parents could of at least given him one warning and maybe sat down with him and had a chat' He was not playing nock and run u fool, he was in a serious criminal predicimate

One that could have been stopped with out criminal charges being pressed. Because from now until the rest of his life, he is a criminal in Australia. He probably isn't allowed to ever leave the country, he won't be able to get certain jobs. Would you like that?

Also are you insinuating that all dealers are just stuck in a predicament that they can't get out of? Why are we arresting these people then? Shouldn't we be giving them government money and helping them out of their predicament? Oh wait, dealing isn't an addiction.

have your opinion, but he will be moving on and living a great life while you do..

And now I've had my opinion, I'm gonna go live a great life too :|

I'll say one thing, when feds roll up on your doorstep - you'll know its not if, but when.

Somethings are better left unsaid, but i'll say one thing - Australian Crime Commission.

There are legal powers that no one knows about, and are left un-used until they get fed up enough with not being able to catch you - or reserved for people they think may be of value to them to keep on the move.

You mean the phone tapping/using your phone as a listening device even when it is not being used etc?

^Nah nothing like that, they serve you with a summons to appear before an examiner of the commission, and force you to answer questions they already know the answers to, where if they catch you out lying, you're sentenced to prison for holding the court in contempt.

It's a fucked scenario. When it gets to this point, they've been monitoring you for some time.

^yeah i forgot to include that, you don't get a right to silence.

You do however get a right against self incrimination - your one and only friend in this situation. However if the evidence you give incriminates someone else - and they rat on you, well.. thats another story.

This brings back memories of The Hive/Wet-Dreams.

A person that I knew, Worlock, was in to making meth back in the late 90's. I mean really into it. I mean, this Californian dude, was into some serious Mickey Rourke esque-shit without the shonky shit that is Spun the movie.

Now, he is into growing weed. And his doing a damn good job at it too.

It's not a matter of IF LE start busting down your doors, it's a matter of WHEN.
