It wasn't my best idea, but I had MDMA (once), speed (twice), alcohol (daily) and caffeine (once) over the course of last week, ending on Friday. I've done speed a few times before and never had a problem at all, but I think the research chemical variety of amphetamines was cut much stronger. This week I have been experiencing an intermittent ache/pain in or around my heart for a period of several days, and it hasn't left even though I've abstained from everything but healthy meals and water or fruit juice. This morning I had a stabbing pain just below my left breast 3-4 times over the course of ten minutes trying to shower (that was terrifying) and since coming back from the doctor this afternoon there's been an ache in my left arm/armpit and the side of my breast. I can't really describe the heart pain, but the arm pain is similar to after an injection (I did not inject any of my drugs btw). The doctor I saw today told me that my heart rate was only just above normal (70-80) and I should be fine. He said it could be heartburn from irritation of the gullet, combined with an altered heart rate from binging, but I am not sure. Admittedly I blamed it all on very heavy caffeine and alcohol consumption and being particularly lightweight for caffeine (which is true), but I think he realised I might have been taking other stimulants. This was before the arm pain really kicked in, because I'd thought it was from sleeping in a tense position.
I wouldn't ask for serious medical advice on a forum and I know where I should be going for that, but I wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience and what the outcome was. Anyone agree with the doctor that this will pass? How do I take my mind off this? I don't want to take pain suppressants for obvious reasons, but I don't want to think about it for another few days unless I'm literally having a stroke.
