Pain Sufferers, but we still like getting high.

IM NOT necessarily talking about useing relax. I am a chonic Pain patient, yes all real all documented for over ten years +, all I was trying to say their are some of us, yes us who would chose the pain over getting a buzz, but to be honest many of use like to just melt aways safley, I will add, I just like a nice warn blinkey that goes up and down my spine now and then and acually be able to sleep later in the night. Sorry if I offended all you honest folks. There are many quotes you may want to kick over out of your sight too, I keep in mind not to ever post here again.

Meatballs,
So wish I was still in California, weed is a wonderful thing, I love the smell the taste and how it does help dull the pain, but it also helps kick in what I'm already on for pain. I'm in a pain clinic and its a no no here in this sweet Lil late blumming place. N.C. sometimes ill catch a wif while I'm driving and long for my sweet Mary Jane. My friend is headed toward 70 and smokes like no bodies business. I have an ungodly tolerance to opiates, benzos, everything. But weed gets me so High I can only take a few long hits. That's the weirdest thing to me that My insurmountable intake of various other drugs in my past, but weed, I'm gone. Happy cuddles an content. But can't do it, something as simple as. That. Well they need to hurry up and legalize. Yen right here it may take another 20 freakN years. Peace

It cracks me up with the whole pot thing and pain clinics. So, I too am a long long time CPP and I get urine tested a couple random times a year. It's the whole CGS (?) expensive test and it's detailed. I asked my doc about the things they tested for when I got the results back. He told me they did NOT check for pot because as he said, "We wouldn't have a practice if we had to kick everyone out who smoked it!" I started laughing and I said but you check for the fake pot and that new crap, what's the deal? He just gave me the evil eye and said, I think you ask too many questions and left. UFB!

I take my meds for pain. However once in a while I'll take a little extra just to feel that buzz. I figure that living with pain makes me entitled to a little "good stuff" now and then. I hate my life because of all the pain and I try not to overuse my meds because I'll run out and then I'll go into WD AND have all that pain. But I enjoy getting high as much as the next person. I just wish I had a better source for my pills (not looking for sources on here, just complaining) because my doctors DO NOT understand.

Try find one that does. Because believe it or not they are out there(compassionate heavy handed script writing docs), scarce but there. and once you've got one be a model patient and u'll be sorted.

^i know youre a pain patient, as am i. taking a doctor for a ride really isnt in anyones best interest. its a straight path to a nice monkey on the back, double edged if you really are a legitimate pain sufferer towing the line for all the wrong reasons.

Who's taking a doctor for a ride? If you always get your pills exactly on time, it doesn't really matter if once in a while you use a creative solution to get more out of your prescription. I use poppies on occasion so I can save my pills for when I really need them. My husband complains because he thinks I'm spending money on things to ease my pain when I could get them for free if I was straight up with my doctors about my pain. But you don't want to come across as "drug seeking" or you're blacklisted.
