Pain Management Question

Hi, not sure of all of the rules here. Hope this isn't out of line.

I tested positive for methadone at pain management. I ran out of oxy and 6 dayd before my appointment I took 20mgs and figured it would be out because my normal dose is 300mgs of oxy a day. Figured with my tolerance would piss out methadone at that low of a dise in a couple days. Sucks because it didn't help.

Now they called me for a pill count. I am going to be about 80 pills short. I doubt it will be excused. I am sure I will get discharged. I will have about 50 or 60 left assuming they don't confiscate them. I go to a well known pill mill. I never used opiates prior to this. I am so mad they got me addicted to this stuff and now are going to kick me out but I guess it is my fault for taking the methadone.

My question is, I know other people that been kicked out of the same pill mill and are in other PM Drs. I can't get a hold of any of them because they are all paranoid I am calling to ask to borrow some because I told them about the count. They made it seem as easy as paying for your file and going to a new one to start over. Is it that easy if you are discharged? Anyone know from experience. These people been to everyone in the area and are kicked out constantly. I don't want to jumo off at 300+mgs a day. I don't sell them. I eat them all so it's more like I take about 4-600mgs a day. Withdrawal will suck I am sure plus I get zanax so I am sure that will suck too but I take that sparingly and am pretty confident I am not addicted to it.

I was discharged from PM for having other drugs in my urine. Was a gift in disguise but to answer your question, as far as I know some PMs that are pill mills as you call them will rake you in. I know people that bounce around from one to another. Most do it after getting kicked out of the previous. Never bothered to ask how because I wanted to get clean. Went through hell and cheated a couple of time but getting off that legal drug dealers list of patients probably saved my life. I am in pain but nothing advil can't handle. I did it for the drugs to be honest.
