OP, do you live anywhere close to a uni w/ a dental school? many colleges of dentistry have facial pain clinics where you can get an accurate diagnosis and help w/ non-drug methods to control your symptoms if you do indeed have TMJ disorder. treating the underlying cause could possibly resolve the whole problem. finding and treating the cause is most def preferable rather than just treating symptoms.
