So last year I did a pretty decent amount of hiking from spring/summer onwards, then towards the last few months of the year was using a rowing machine pretty regularly.
This year I decided I would like to take up running and my fucking feet are killing me. Admittedly I was using less than adequate shoes for running and I even got laughed at by the shop assitant for using the shoes that I did! But I have bought some proper ones now but my feet have been killing non stop for about 10 days whenever I try and run even 10 meters.
Whats wrong with my feet? Have I fucked them?
Also I was thinking of using an excerise bike til I sort my feet out! Would this effect the recovery time for my feet? I figure it cant hurt them, as they arent constantly pounding concrete like they are with running but I would like to be able to run 5k or so!
