lmao :D

Swine flu made me not able to smoke for over a week because my throat was coarse as sandpaper. Other than that it was just a regular flu, I sometimes oink now though. 🐷

naw,,, it was prolly just a swan flu. šŸ•Š

This one bothers me. Everyone seems way to lax about it. Maybe im wrong and I hope I am, but everyone I hear is comparing it to the flu and how many people the flu kills ever year. Yes the average flu kills a lot of people every year, but it is in every community on the planet as far as im concerned. How many will die from this once its in every community in the world. Well have both to deal with.

The thing that worries me most, istn getting sick and dying, though my mother does have a compromised immune system, which means if she gets sick, she dies. But what scares me is the whole world having to shut down. When a tenth of the country is terribly sick at the same time, that pretty much stops everything. No one will want to go to work, and once that happens supply chains are stopped. If you live in a city, there are three days worth of food in that city. That's why theyre called food deserts. What happens when a large percent of the population is sick at once, with the flu, with the kung flu, and whatever else... That puts crazy strain on everything. I stress that everyone should have 2 weeks worth of non perishable food, medicines and clean water/alcohol for disinfectant, just in case you gotta shelter in place. Wash your hands after everything you do, and I would advise against shaking hands or going into crowded environments if you can. BE PROACTIVE. If you get sick, don't go to work. Its ok to wear an n95 mask in public. The looks you get are jealousy for being smart.

As far as drug harm reduction, don't go around smoking with people, or sharing drinks, or tooters. People who smoke will be hit especially hard im gonna guess, since its often pneumonia that's the killer.

If things go bad from this, it wont take long. Be preparted, Be proactive, and Be vigilant and youll be ok (y)

6. it might be from space.
7. we might really be screwed this time.
I'm raffling my space in the HEPA filtered NZ super bunker in aid of the Bernie Sanders election campaign... bid to buy my space so you can survive to be bored to death by Bernie.

lol šŸ˜‚

It's everywhere now, first deaths in Germany and France too. We're all screwed!

There are now concerns COVID-19 can remain dormant in a person’s system with minimal symptoms (and possibly spread) following an acute, symptomatic period. This is because a women tested positive again after treatment and discharge from hospital in Japan.

Coronavirus: Japan confirms first case of person being reinfected with COVID-19

The case has health experts worrying that the illness could remain dormant after an apparent recovery.

Vice President Mike Pence is now in charge of US efforts to combat the virus. I’m less worried already. 😬

I think it's mildly amusing that the two counterculture positions are either it's an advanced biological weapon or it's no worse than the flu. Clearly, those are the only two possibilities. There are no diseases in between "flu" and "smallpox".

Indeed. The same dichotomy runs through MSM positions too, they want to sell papers with fear and doom porn click bait headlines but they also want people to carry on as usual. Until more is known the best strategy is to reduce your individual risk for example by not flying, the impacts of the attempted containment stragtegy on supply chains are just beginning to be felt and ultimately the consequences of that will hurt more people than the virus itself

The mainstream position is what exactly? It seems utterly contradictory, the WHO won't declare it a pandemic even though it meets the criteria for a pandemic because that would trigger the World Banks' Pandemic bonds and Goldman and others would take a haircut, They are sat on bonds that expire in July, having taken juicy 6.8% interest payments for the past 3 years, if a pandemic is declared the bonds are then used to pay for dealing with the pandemic and the financial parasites lose all their money. Notice the unusual phraseology from the WHO, desparate not to use the P word.

From an individual perspective the absolute risk from novel coronvirus is low, it is increasingly obvious that there are a lot of cases that haven't been diagnosed and that don't result in medical intervention these numbers by their very nature are hidden from view. This virus will spread widely, it already has. It will then become a regular circulating virus, just like 2008 H1N1 pandemic influenza did. Fortunately pangolins revenge will slow because of spring.

Not just counter cultures. People have a tendency to gravitate towards extreme opinions.

People have evolved to want to fit in, to adhere to a group of others like them. So they like people affirming their points of view. So they cluster with others of a similar viewpoint and become increasingly homogenized.

Until you reach its logical conclusion where everyone has to be either a republican or a Democrat. And if you're not either, both will see you as the reverse. :p

Couldn't the Trump administration have easily prevented this from happening if they just listened to the advice of the experts? :cautious:

Chinese vaccine law was passed in late 2019. This law took effect on Dec 1st, 2019. The timing is interesting. In this article, Dr James Lyons-Weiler is hypothesizing that this may effect susceptibility.

In a worse case scenario he says China may have ignored animal studies on the dangers of coronavirus vaccination and done it covertly. In addition, he says vaccination with an aluminum adjuvant and previous exposure to a Coronavirus (for example MERS) may also increase susceptibility. That's why you have some people dropping dead in the streets, possibly due to what's known as a "cytokine storm".

In short, a vaccine might be the worst mistake of your life.

COVID-19 Coronavirus: A Fake Pandemic? Who’s Behind It? Global Economic, Social and Geopolitical Destabilization

The media hype and disinformation campaign regarding the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus have created a Worldwide atmosphere of fear and uncertainty following the launching of a global public health emergency by the WHO on January 30th.

The fear campaign is ongoing. Panic and uncertainty. National governments and the WHO are misleading the public.

ā€œAbout 84,000 people in at least 56 countries have been infected, and about 2,900 have diedā€ says the New York Times. What they fail to mention is that 98% of those cases of infection are in Mainland China. There are less than 5000 confirmed cases outside China. (WHO, February 28, 2020)

While COVID-19 is a matter of Public Health concern, at the moment, there is no real pandemic outside Mainland China. Look at the figures.

At the time of writing, the number of ā€œconfirmed casesā€ in the US was 64.

A low number and the media is spreading panic.

Meanwhile, there are 15 Million Cases of Influenza in the USA

Daughterā€˜s Story: family saved from COVID-19 virus with Vitamin C in Wuhan

I've heard before of high doses of Vitamin C being very effective for immunity.

I wish people wouldn't act like their personal anecdotal experiences proves anything. That's the reason we have so many sham medicines for diseases. Especially diseases that can get better on their own with no intervention.

Now that's not to say that it might not be worth doing a study on the effectiveness of vitamin c in reducing the severity if Coronavirus. Just that you can't take one families experience and act like it's proof.

I'm not saying you're doing that JGrimez but it's how the headline reads to me.
