We dont really need five mods, but lately real life has been taking up a lot more of our time, and it would be easier to have one extra set of hands in here to help pick up any slack we may be letting out. Plus, its better to have to many than to not have enough (quote stolen from GM)

And yeah, its true. Were second to the Lounge. Not by much, but there is a huge difference between the third highest traffic and OD/The Lounge.
 
I'm sorry to hear that about hfrs. I'm excited to see who the new mod will be!!
 
delta_9: In case you weren't aware, PDX was mod of OD back in the day, and he did a damn fine job. I'd love it if he were to come back. He wouldn't even have to fill out an application, he could just say he wants the job and I'd be down to let him have it.

Oh, I wasn't actually saying anything negative about anyone in specific, I was just saying I dont think this thread was intended to nominate people.
But no I didn't know that, it dosen't say "bluelight crew" for him, sorry paradoxcycle.
 
I just seen PDX on the last couple days too. I havent seen him around or a while.

He was an awesome mod.

I'd like to let everyone know that we are still welcoming application submissions from OD regulars. We have received many submissions, and a few good submissions. However, there are still a few people who I expected applications from (not going to name names) who I haven't seen any from. Those people know who they are. Perhaps they don't want the responsibility, or didn't apply because they don't think they will get chosen, or various other reasons. Just remember, we are a progressive, open-minded group of moderators in OD (hah, yeah right) and are hoping for that one "knock-your-socks-off" application (though I have seen one or two already, they could be trumped). Also, make sure you write a good bit, not one of those two sentence applications. Tell us about your background, what you know, what you can offer to OD, your vision, etc. The real specifications are in the first post of this thread, but feel free to expand upon them. You all know I am a grammar nazi too, so watch that. ;)

Thanks guys, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else we have coming in.
