Other Drugs is Looking for a New Moderator

^I just see more frequent ODers who know a lot more than I do about "other drugs". Even if I was qualified, there's likely someone else who's more qualified. I mean I guess I dont know who sent in applications but I would think any mod position is pretty highly coveted, and OD is rather competitive.
I definately could post here more often, I certainly have some of the knowledge to, it's just that like I said someone will come along in 5 minutes who knows even more than I do, but I lurk a lot and I pop my head in and say hi every now and again :)
I wouldn't know what to say in my application anyway, I suck at those sorta things and it's not like a regular job application where I can put actual job experience :\

Oh, I just though of something, since OD is so high traffic and you do want mods here at all times(ideally), maybe you should post your time zine along with the other mods, and you could suggest a certain time zone as the best time for the future mod to be active, since you dont want all the mods at work or alseep at the same time, right? :D

Well, currently 3 of us are on the east coast and one of us on the west coast (I'm talking about the US), and it seems to work out fine. The majority of the posters in OD are Americans, so it dies down when we sleep and picks back up when we wake up. Its worked perfectly so far. So its not absolutely crucial on time zones. We'd rather have someone who is qualified in the same time zone as us than someone less qualified that we choose only because they are in Europe or wherever and have opposite hours than the current 4 of us. Of course, the best option would be a good, qualified candidate who lies in a strategic time zone. I shall cross my fingers.

Dont post anything else in this thread unless it has to do with you sending in a mod application. Anything else, Ill just remove it and issue a warning, considering this is your "soft warning."
 
seriously, leave your lounge bullshit in the lounge. If all youre going to do is nominate people who have barely -- if at all ever -- posted in OD, I have no problem just unapproving everything you say in OD.

Quit trying to derail threads here, that is what the Lounge is for, so leave it there.

I have been around longer than most of you and have personal ties to jasoncrest, ask him he knows who I am. We have talked on the phone a few times despite our many miles apart. Most of you have no clue what I am talking about, some mods do. I could tell most of you things about him most others wouldnt know, I only check this forum on a regular basis, Mods, some of you know me some of you dont, I am very well qualifid to be a moderator, i hope sonic didn't step down. It's not my postcount that matters, it's the spotless record of warnings or anything of the like and focus on harm REDUCTION!

i was in phreex's forum, i think that application was enough for anybody that completed it and got approved. ;) But who knows phreex anymore these days here, he started this forum when the primary focus was ecstasy.

We'll consider it your resume when you PM it to one of us like everybody else did. I wouldnt really even consider it a resume. Its name dropping and ego-inflating. Also, being a member of PhreeX's forum does not qualify you as a mod. OD is different than it was back then, and your "connections" or "who you know" doesnt mean shit anymore.
