Anyone interested in doing this? I would offer the winner a prize of having their book sticky noted up at the top for a month or two in order to gain more readership of it.

Thoughts?

hey, now thats how i need to write my book. i spend way too much time worrying over making mistakes. i just need to hammer that fucker out. it's going to be ludicrous anyway, its about two stoners who team up with a retired astronaut and a group of scientists to save the world from demonic hoardes attacking from the 12th dimension

Yeah just hammer it out, the rewrite it. My first drafts are always terrible rambling words than go on and on, but then it's like I have this great foundation of what I'm basically trying to say, and I can rewrite it to awesomeness. I love editing, its my favorite part.

^^sounds great notdeja :) I'd love to read whatever you post.

I'm contemplating a novel about a group of intent magicians who make, grow and push weed/psychs. it will be heavily influenced by the corporate conspiracy.

KandyK has a book out. I read it. You have to be into research chemicals to understand it. The book was good over all. It was more like she was sitting there telling me stories of when she was high, having sex or both then me reading a storyline. Its an autobiography...

if enough people want to do this perhaps a thread could be created giving some support for each other? I thnk it is a great idea one i would want to participate in but i often find that i cannot write past three paragraphs.

do they give you a topic on the last day before it begins or can you write about anything?

Hey folks,

Long time no post, I know... I've just got back from an overseas trip.

Just thought I'd stick my head in to tell you that I've signed up for NaNoWriMo. Check my profile if you like. Would be awesome if we could all support each other. :)

DO you even need to have a certain genre such as "romance" to market the book? Or can you just say general adult fiction?

No.

It doesn't need to fit into any particular genre.

It just has to be GOOD and COMPELLING.

Keep Writing! :)

Best Of Luck, Fellow Writer,

LL

Thanks. Yeah I've decided it's just "general fiction".

I think it's good. At least, writing it has brought me a lot of joy, laughter, smiles, tears, etc. I hope it does the same for the reader! :)

i still aspire to write and i really wanted to work that november challenge but i've been completely consumed by another creative project., a short film. i'm doing everything on it, wrote it, shot it, editing it, fx, animation, score, story, walk on bit part, everything. got proper actors and everything.
i have a cast screening booked on the 20th so it should be done by then.

"be careful what you wish for..." i'll show it off, don't you worry :)

I'm committed to being a starving artist/writer for life.

If one day it ends up getting me fed, thats cool. But until then, I write and paint because it's what I know I'm meant to do. And one day, someone will read my books.

:)

That, my friend, is a healthy motherfucking attitude about how to live your life!

Big up yo'self, Deja!
