A topic for discussion, organics vs synthetics. I often find myself having to defend my opinion when I tell someone I prefer organic substances that came from the Earth. Whether or not organics actually are safer to use, we don't know, it's a simple personal preference from experience. As I explained to someone earlier, I have experimented with lots of different drugs over the past few years, many synths, organics, pharms, street powders, synthetic versions of organics, organic alternatives to synths, etc.. Looking back at my track record, I notice that the organic substances I've used (and abused!) give more consistently smooth and positive experiences while the synths I've used seem to be the most inconsistent, including pharms!
For an example from my experience, over the past couple months, I've been using kratom every other day and lately a couple days in a row here and there. Every single time, my sweet spot dosage would give me the effects I expect, a smooth ride up, no comedown whatsoever to speak of, lasts long, and absolutely no hangover the next day. After using quite a bit over the past few months or so, I not only have noticed NO adverse effects from using frequently and also have stopped cold turkey and am now on day four without using. Withdrawal? What withdrawal? Try using oxy in equivalent dosages and frequency and see how your withdrawal goes.
I also use weed every day, sometimes all day. Again, nothing bad has resulted from my frequent usage, I can and have stopped for days with nothing more than cravings. If I wanted to stay equally as stoned/anxiety relieved on synthetics, I've probably have to use copious amounts of benzos or JWH. Benzos are heavily addictive and carry a life-threatening withdrawal. Let's not even talk about JWH.
On the same note I've used synthetic opiate pills ranging from oxycontin, percocet, vicodin, hydromorphone, codiene, etc.. Every time is a different experience, with different results from different dosages all the time. I also always simply find myself wishing I just didn't take these pills and drank some kratom instead.
Lastly, on a related note, do you feel that your body has the potential to subconsciously learn and communicate to 'itself' what is good and bad for it? For example, which is actually what prompted this thread, amphetamines almost always give me an anxiety attack when I think about taking them almost as if my body is saying "Ohh no!! Not that again!!". My body never seems to agree with amps and I get anxious when around them. However, at the same time, I can smell a bag of weed or a jar of kratom and get a small euphoric rush when I think about using some.
Opinions? What's your preference?
