If what you are ordering is really a research chemical, then you have nothing to worry about. RCs are explicitly legal to possess; just as long as you confine yourself to in vitro research. Though you do need a (very hard to get) licence for in vivo research (and the stuff sold by most vendors is not certified pure enough for such research anyway).
