Ordering Research Chemicals a lot... suspicious for the postman?

licence for in vivo research really Julie that sounds interesting any idea as to were to start ive just done a google search and nothing about it just something for animal testing grrrrr

If what you are ordering is really a research chemical, then you have nothing to worry about. RCs are explicitly legal to possess; just as long as you confine yourself to in vitro research. Though you do need a (very hard to get) licence for in vivo research (and the stuff sold by most vendors is not certified pure enough for such research anyway).

that is quite a dangerous statement to make. what is a "research chemical" somewhere, might be a controlled substance somewhere else. i can think of at least 10 substances that are illegel where i live, but considered legal/grey area in the land i could order them from.

Bingo! ^

I mentioned this in my post further up.

"Research Chemical" is just a generic term. It does not imply any particular legality the way the terms "Legal High" or "Illegal Drug" might. But just because you are ordering "Research Chemicals" does not necessarilly mean you are ordering a legal chemical. 2c-e is an RC in Spain, it is an illegal drug here. When MXE was legal here in the UK, it was already banned in Canada. 1P-LSD is legal in the UK right now, but not in the USA, due to their analogue act.

All Research Chemicals are not all legal in all countrys. One country's Research Chemical is very often another countrys illegal drug, just the way one countrys terrorist is often another countrys freedom fighter.

I never said it wasn't a big if.

If the original poster had ordered something that was in fact registered as a medicine, illegal drug, poison, explosive or precursor anywhere that it might have had to pass through on the way, then it would by definition not be a research chemical.

Your post could be misconstrued, & has been!

It is equally about the origin of the order in question as it is about the contents of the order.

For the avoidance of any doubt whatsoever, once again, the term "Research Chemical" carries zero legal relevence. Buying a "Legal High" is clearly an unprosribed activity. Buying an "Illegal "Drug" clearly a proscribed one. The words "Research Chemical" offer no indication whatsoever about the legality of any particular chemical in any particular country.

This ambiguity is the very essence of the loop-hole that permits the sale of RCs in those countrys that do permit their sale.
