the OP made it clear the question was not about IV.

does anyone have experience taking it orally with known amounts w/o a tolerance? surely its more potent than codeine, morphine, and hydrocodone. what about hydromorphone, oxymorphone, others?
 
No its not more potent than morphine. It, essentially, is morphine, and thus equipotent. However, street heroin is always cut to some extent, so it would actually be less potent by weight than straight pharmaceutical morphine.

But I don't get it. Even if you had NO tolerance, and eating 1 bag would get you high, why would you? There's many better, MORE EFFICIENT/CHEAPER/MORE SATISFYING ways to take it, and not all of them are invasive. You really shouldn't have issues with snorting or smoking substances, considering that you're willing to do heroin you already crossed the line. And I'm not going to recommend IV because that is different than snorting/smoking/eating, and NOT EVER a good idea without a tolerance.

As people said, heroin looses most of its power (to cross BBB) when consumed orally...
 
i was pulled over once. had one $10 bag with me of decent quality, and didn't want to have to go through any bullshit, having a long day as it was, so I just ate it. It came in a capsule as it was, so swallowing it wasn't a problem. Anyway, i didn't feel a damn thing.

I believe the oral bioavailability of morphine is around 35%. So heroin should be the same. It's a waste, but if you have the money, no one can tell you not to do it.

True - but they can yell you its a really fucking stupid idea.

And eating it to avoid getting arrested is totally different. It's not like if you didn't get pulled over you were going to go home and mix it in your tomato soup - you were going to Snort/Smoke/Slam/Stick it up your ass (wanted to keep the alliteration going), unless you have some weird ass method like putting it in your eye

Point being you didn't have a choice but to eat it. And to choose to do it is as retarded as narutokun, or worse.

Made me realize that I never want to do anything nearly as retarded as narutokun would do. Therefore, I will just have to pretend to know what it feels like and wait until I am pulled over holding, at which time I'll eat my stash.
