Thanks for the correction, phrozen... if that is the case, then since ORAL heroin still undergoes first pass metabolism, are those reduced effects owed to morphine hence the substantially reduced bioavailability or is 6-MAM still responsible for the effects?

Heroin degrades to morphine in the stomach and as such exhibits the same effects as any oral morphine product. Oral is the least effective ROA though.
