This post will offend some. If you are a recreational gym rat, pay no attention. If you are competing with the intention of going pro, this is it......
I'm going to be real with you. I didn't read a lot of the posts, so maybe a few people already said this. If you are going to take AAS and compete and all that, you are going to be using forever.
The 'youth foundation' thing is bullshit that started on the internet to deter youngans from dangering themselves. If you're not an idiot and you do you research, there's no reason you can't start young.
(Unless closure of growth plates is an issue, but then you can still take primo, halo, and anything else that has zero estrogen conversion). You are tall as hell so it doesn't matter anyway. The other reason is
they figured kids just didn't have the experience to train right, so why waste gear on them?
Well if you have a good experienced friend or trainer, fuck all that genetic limit and youth foundation stuff. What's a 20 year olds natural test and GH level? 1iu of GH and 800ng/dL? Shit, some guys get to 1500ng/dL on Test replacement therapy, and they tell these kids they already have plenty of hormones to get huge? Then why aren't TRT patients mass monsters? The reality is that the guys that made it in this sport started using drugs right away, and the more the better. Look at pics of Serge Nubret and Arnold at age 19. They were juiced up already and why wouldn't they be? That was their passion, that is what it took to get to the top, and it was legal for them.
I'm not a competitor, but I've been around the scene for 14 years now...... Out of every guy that wanted to do a 'cycle', maybe 3 of them (out of 100 probably) never touched roids again. And these guys were those types of guys....to just get into whatever their buddies did then move on. Anyway, point I'm making....there aren't cycles. Maybe you'll cycle for a few years, maybe even a decade. Maybe you know a guy that has cycled for 40 years, blah, blah exceptions..... But everyone else who is serious and wants to compete is ON year round or nearly year round. Maybe a 2 month break after a show. Sure, some guys blast and cruise (cycle on/then off and run TRT til they blast again, but even that eventually leads to the TRT part being 500mg of test) Bodybuilders are obsessed maniacs. Do you think for a second they are not going to be on drugs that grow muscle year round? While their competition is? Have you seen pics of pros that got out of jail?
Have you seen Kevin Levrone when he quits training and AAS? (see pic) He looks like an average Joe. That is all bodybuilding is. Genetics and drugs. That pisses so many people off because everyone wants to think it was their hard work that got them to where they are....and I'm not taking that away from them, it is hard work, and it takes extreme dedication. But no one makes it on hard work alone. You need drugs and you need the genes to utilize them. Everyone has a pal that did the same weak ass cycle with them.... 2 amps of sustanon a week. You gained 5 solid lbs and he gained 15 while getting leaner on a shittier diet. Those are the guys with the potential. I had to give up on being somebody when it took me 1.5g of gear to be a lean 218 at 5'9''. That is a poor response to hormones, and I never had the genetic shape to be anything even if I could grow huge.
You see pics of these guys when they were young? Insertions points? muscle bellies? That's gifts from mom and dad, not something you can buy.
How old is the average Olympia competitor? Haney was 32 I think in '91, Ronnie's last win was at age 41, Arnold's last win was age 33 I think, you get my point. These were the LAST TIMES these guys won the Olympia title, and they weren't THAT old. Haney won his first Olympia at age 25!!!! Ronnie's first Olympia win was at 34, and
Arnold won his first at 23!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y
ou think he waited to build a foundation naturally or something like that?
Look at 13 year old Lee Priest. 13!
. Not many guys can look like that natty at 13...those are some genes there.
Look at teenage Arnold...we can argue all day whether he was on shit or not, but did you look like that as a teen whether on or off?
Think about that. The guy that wanted to win more than anyone else in the world won the biggest title in bodybuilding at 23 years old. You think he started lifting at age 18, built a solid foundation (whatever the hell that is), then did a cycle and won? Hell no, he started juicing when he started lifting. I'm sorry to offend anyone with my hatred for the 'foundation' thing, its just that there is no damn difference between the muscle you grow naturally and the muscle you grow on AAS. I began training at 18, hit a cycle, reached my genetic max, and never dropped below that. I just used juice to get to my foundation faster. Depending on your genes, that foundation will vary. But whatever it is, you'll know when you reach it..... because you'll always shrink back to that exact weight if you stop AAS.
Bodybuilding is full of insecure liars. No one wants to admit they use tons of drugs. But you can sure as hell see how important the drugs are when the guy is getting dialysis and is off cycle but still at the gym.
Levrone off..
Guy still looks great. But check him out when he's on and you see how important the drugs and the response are.
This is a post from a pro that goes by Big A.... he's lived the life:
This is the truth:
If your diet, training, health and rest are completely up to scratch, the more steroids you take, the bigger you will get. It's as simple as that.
Pros have got their diet, training (health for the most part) and rest up to a standard that works for them perfectly, but they are only the size they are due to the drugs they take. Don't beleive the crap from anyone, that they are not, even from the 'in the know' people that are on this board. Those very same people for the most part have used/use extremely higher dosages than what they preach. Why do they preach the low dosages? - various personal agendas.
Reality is that as a rule, 1g per week of test non stop year round is the 'off' time for the pros. Gear is added as it's obtained - no real detailed cycles as such. As long as they take the high dosages of gear, they'll grow (as long as the diet, training, health and sleep is up to scratch as mentioned previously).
Several grams of test per week, several grams of anabolics per week, up to 2g/week of tren, a shit load of orals, insulin several times a day year round, GH as much as can be afforded - 15 to 30IU/day, etc.
BUT, pros have the genetics to have their bodies accept the gear, and generally not get sick on it.
And ancilliary use is huge - liver aids to the max, anti-e's, dht blockers, cardio supps, cholesterol supps, etc.
Still, most of them are complete wrecks. They can't control bodily functions,
they pass out from walking a flight of stairs, they get drenched in sweat from tying their shoelaces. Gyno, baldness, dry skin, gout, excess bodily hair, acne, etc are ALL existant in virtually all of them.
It is not a healthy sport, drug use is ENORMOUS, but to ignore it and to preach otherwise is pathetic and not what this site is about.
BTW, Synthetek's books have on them who's who of current pros ordering Syntherol constantly. They ALL use it extensively. It is pathetic though, when one orders a bottle and their credit card gets declined due to not enough funds. You think a 30+ yo would have his life in order more than that.
Anyway, I'm sick of seeing the bullshit that has been promoted on this site the last few years. This site was originally set up as an uncensored place where you can find the truth about advanced performance enhancing, regardless of consequences. It's getting back to that.
