If I can recall correctly, guido is on methadone but isn't tapering? I think?
Correct. When I got onto the program they started me at 20mg and raised me until 100mg. At 100mg my withdrawal stopped so I refused to go any higher. Been on the same dose for 4 years but haven't started tapering yet because at the moment everything is good. I plan on tapering soon though because I'm at the point where I got no more cravings, I don't ever want to get back on heroin, and my opiate addiction has been replaced with bodybuilding.
I'm an advocate for hardcore opiate addicts to get on TRT. If you have been abusing opiates for a few years then odds are you have done some permanent damage to your hormone levels and brain chemistry. I always have Testosterone in my blood. 500mg of Test E every week when I'm bulking in the winter and 250mg of Test E every week the rest of the year. It keeps me energized, confident, and keeps my sex drive working properly. I will be using Testosterone until the day I die. At some point I want to get on Testosterone Undecanoate, load up every week to my desired serum levels, and then only have to inject once every 12 weeks.
Anyways, people hate me because I'm brutally honest I guess. They need to realize I speak from experience and extensive research. People forget all I do is lift, work, sleep, eat, post here and on gh15, and research hormones, pharmacuticals, chemicals, peptides, and supplements. I probably have done over 10,000 hours of research and reading and have a pretty extensive knowledge of human biology and organic chemistry. I'm much smarter than I let on.
When I tell someone to wait or not to do something I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm looking out for them and trying to make sure that they don't waste time and money. Bodybuilding is a marathon, not a sprint. You have to start small and work your way up in terms of steroid use. Start small and simple with the lowest effective dosages and the least amount of compound possible. Save the high dosages and super huge stacks when you have a physique that needs high dosages and huge stacks to make gains. Start at the right age as well. At under 21, most aren't ready to dedicate their life to bodybuilding and steroids. They live at home, party, go to school, go to college, drink, are immature, and sometimes they are still at the tail end of puberty. Some don't even have the foundation needed. You should be at least 10% body fat and have considerable muscle mass before using steroids. Steroids only enlarge existing muscle, so if you existing muscle is already enlarged from working out naturally, introducing steroids will only make it bigger and your results will be phenomenal. And if your body fat is low those results will be highlighted by definition, vascularity, and striations; Things only possible at a low body fat level. With high body fat, steroids will make you look bloofy and you wont have definition or vascularity. Young guys here need to realize that steroids aren't going to give you the physique you desire after one cycle. It takes a few. You won't get their quicker with high dosages and multiple compounds on a first cycle; It will inhibit gains actually due to the stress being put on the body. The desire for instant gratification needs to be put to the side when bodybuilding. Steroids are not magic, they are powerful tools that help us sculpt our bodies and each steroid is no better or no worse than the other (except for Stanazol that shit suck lol); Each is a tool with a purpose and can all can be used for bulking or cutting, all that defines a steroids bulking or cutting ability is diet and training.
You can't expect steroids to be safe and gains to be great when you use steroids with recreational drugs. Marijuana is an exception due to it's lack of depressing the nervous system like narcotics, the fact it doesn't put strain on the body, and because it isn't physically addictive. The only thing with Marijuana is that excess use should be avoided because it can cause lo testosterone levels and can cause estrogen levels to raise. Prescription drugs at the proper dosage under the supervision of a doctor are another exception. Using benzos, opiates, opiods, amphetamines, barbituates, research chemicals, alcohol, and recreational stimulants even once or twice a week recreationally doesn't mix with bodybuilding. It's counter productive and when steroids are in the mix it's asking for serious health complications, short term and long term. You either use steroids or use drugs. There is no inbetween. All steroid related deaths have one thing in common; Drugs. Drugs were always in the mix. Be it Cocaine, Heroin, Xanax, Amphetamine, Oxycodone, or some something else, a drug or cocktail of drugs was always involved when a steroid user died. When you commit yourself to bodybuilding and augmenting yourself with hormones and chemicals, you need to put aside the drugs. If you happen to want to start bodybuilding and are currently addicted to a substance, get clean first. If you are bodybuilding and get addicted to a substance, put your bodybuilding on hold and get clean first.
