Open air pill scene in the US?

i saw in the price thread that someone from Canada mentioned that one of thier bigger cities had an open air market for pills (opiate). and this kinda surprised me. I know plenty of US cities have open air drug markets so i guess my question is. how easy is it to find pills in certain open air spots and also are there any open air spots in cities (in the US) that specifically have pills scenes that any of yall know of?


As far as where i am at in Suburban DFW i have never heard of open air pill scenes and have never cared to visit any of the dope spots in S.Dallas or wherever
 
^ the reason you see this is because In Canada they have free health care....so they give em out like candy....

another place i bet you can prob find a open air pill market is Florida....due to all the rehabs,old people, doctors office....and ect..
 
nothing around my way is any kinda qwuality thats open air. course all ya gonna find open air around here is weed and crack and i dont fuck with either of em. i have heard in [edit] san fran that OCs are sold out in the open along with everything else.

@Unbreakable:^ there is free health care in most of europe and most of those countries dont have all the cool opioids we have in NA and also in the UK n such it is hard to get Rx opiates so i dont think free govt health care is the sole reason for this. however that is just my 2 cents and i want to say thank you for replying to my thread. keep it coming guys i appreciate all input
 
i live in san francisco and a consistent street market for opiate pills here is about the same as any other big city - not likely.

lots of wishful thinking in this thread :|

There is just so much more profit to be made with heroin than pills.

First, heroin is easier to get large quantities of less conspicuously (no need for RXs), but you can also cut it up and make what you have spread out a bit.
 
i saw this too , and wondered about this.....not sure the poster knew what an open air market consisted of , I can think of any situation where pharmaceuticals would be sold like this
 
chicago has a few VERy well known "spots" that are a total open air market for any pahry that fucks you up and even suboxume and methadone
 
the only open air pill market i would guess in the US is in florida..i saw a documentary on current and basicallly all you have to do is stand outside a pain clinic..and the people come to you
 
Yeah I saw that episode of Vanguard too, fuckin Broward County, FL is the largest 'open air' in the US currently.

I know back in the early 2000's somewhere in NW or NE DC there was an article run in the post about an open air market for pills, not heroin though. The link probably got pruned, but it was in the sub-forum.
 
im glad someone else watches current..best tv station IMO

vanguard is good show but all of their pods are pretty interesting and with it being Viewer created content you cant go wrong
 
Swim says Baltimore has a pretty good scene. one spot (swim can't say though) you can get just about any kind of prescription pill, including methodone, and subs. Good heroin pills (scramble) are hard to come by now, you have to know where the good ones are and there aren't a lot of them recently. Most dealers have been hiding inside cause its been real hot lately.

Plenty of good raw though, usually though its on the other side of town in a totally different area than the scramble, I've been finding that out latley that the raw is better than pills.

Swim says that most times if your driving the the right area dealers will just yell at your car when you drive by to let you know they are good, sometimes multiple ones come over to your car and fight over who gets the deal, lol.

Chicago has at least one place I know of where u can freely get pharmies, benzos/opiates. It's totally open market. There might be other places, but Chicago is about the open market dope/crack, not pharmies.

I constantly hear a certain notorious district in San Francisco for sex and drugs (h, coke, crack, meth, etc) has a pretty big pill scene. You can find Diluadids, Roxies, Oxy 40's, 60,s 80's, etc. Vicodins, Percocets, Xanax, whatever you desire. I have heard this from multiple people on multiple boards. Pill scene in that area is almost as big as the hard drug scene. Any script opiate you can get there, but then you got the street junkies that are hustling obviously. Selling fake OC's to the white kids who are too scared to buy the tar.

Other than that, I don't know in big cities. It's a who you know type thing. More suburban scene IMO. I seen the Vanguard on the Oxycontin craze in FL (Broward County) it's crazy there. No wonder the dope scene there never got a strong foothold. You would think Miami would have the highest purity levels of dope since it's one of the first entry points from South America/Caribbean, but it's stepped on shit. I heard it's not bad, but not as good as NYC/NJ powder.

I know in Newark some boys sell Xanax and low level opiate scripts like Vikes and Percs. Why? No idea. But some do. Probably stolen goods or raiding someone's medicine cabinet and making 100% profit on them. My old dealer used to tell me how he used to buy 100's of OC 80's at a time from some Arab/Middle Eastern guy, because that's what he was cutting his dope up with. He must have been getting some good prices or there some sort of deal where everyone was making out because that doesn't make sense when you can use Lactose or something as a cut. But this dude was awesome and liked he reputation of putting out a good product. And I know this for a 100% fact. He also said he had an Arab guy cutting the dope up for him because it's not easy as you think. You just don't put it in a bowl and put the ratio of cut in and mix and your done. You gotta do it a special way on a big table and then you have to cover it and let the dope "rest" overnight. If it's really good, it will "fluff" up he said. He asked me if I knew how to cut and if I was interested in doing it but when he told me all that shit I was like, Nah, guess it's not like cutting cocaine. 8)

damn that sux to hear now cuz i was in chicago this summer and i ran out of 80's a day before headin back.

luckily i had a 1/4 of a fent patch i sucked on furing the drive back

i used to live in a neighborhood that touches the one i assume you're talking about. i walked through that part of town several times a week, and i don't really care what people on other boards are saying - i don't think the "pill scene" there is really what people would consider open air. your standard hard drugs are much easier to come by in that part of town. sure, there are a lot of busted junkies, tweekers, and tranny prostitutes hustling a variety of wares, and yes, you might be able to work a deal on some pills here and there, but it's hardly a hopping market. pills are more likely to be a ripoff/fake than anything else. you can hardly trust people in that hood to make change for you, let alone sell you a real oc or any of the more difficult to source opiate-based pills.

i'm not saying it's impossible, especially not with the easier stuff like vicodin, but there's nobody standing on specific corners during certain hours slinging oc. i think that's the type of market or scene people are hoping for in this thread, and based on my experience being in that neighborhood hundreds (if not thousands) of times it does not exist here in any type of obvious fashion.
