I've been here since March / April 2000 I think, I have no idea where Candyflip went, his site has had nothing done to it in ages.

Well, you'll all be pleased to know that Candyflip is alive and well, and looking as happy as ever. I saw him on the first weekend in June at the opening of Fokus @ Sub Club, and in his usual style he was running around with his digi-cam snapping pics of the pretty people. He's been writing for inthemix.com.au lately, and was interested to know if I'd seen anyone from BL lately and how you all were.
There are some people that I haven't seen in the longest time - to make a list would be a guarantee of forgetting someone, but they'll forgive me - Some special mentions of course to long lost names that I haven't spotted online in a while --> Pinger, Smurf, Anjele, Sassy, Pillgrim, Mr. Klownz, Rhumba, Dragon, Meth, Fireal
You're definitely an oldskool melb-BL if you used to meetup at the Spleen.

well i predate 2001, and i'd say i'm pretty jaded. don't go out anymore b/c i'm too busy working 60hrs a week, which also leaves no time to do pilltesting stuff - personal or otherwise

i can't even take pills anymore. i just feel sick every time i do. thought it was because i couldn't handle them, but i tried a quarter and i still felt sick. perhaps it's a good thing though. i think i lost purpose there for a while, and certainly spent too much money and didn't have a brain. that's what i'm loving at the moment - being able to think clearly and find the word i'm looking for which i couldn't do for ages. plus i love the music again. i mean i loved it before, i just think i lost the plot for a while. i've discovered that even though it's a bit more tiring i can go out and dance if i want to and enjoy the music, really get into it, without being so headfucked that the next day i can't really remember what the music was like...
plus i'm saving money! yay! i'm going on holiday!

well i started lurking around feb 2000..but didn't register till may 2000 i think? so ive been around for awhile now..and feel like im the only sydney old skool bl who still posts!! everyone else is so new!
 
Registered in April 2000 whilst i was still in school and hung ard here QUITE a bit and used to post a bit more regularly back then.
Old school? perhaps...the board HAS changed a little no one can deny that. Can't say which one i prefer more but HEY! life is all about change isn't it? And what's good if we just stick to one thing?
And oh yeah, i can still remember when perth did not haf much of a presence here on this board. Of course Entropope was the first Perthian mod and White Smoke came along wif his T-Shirts and rc1n wif his anal adventures.. that's all i can remember!!

How long was the board before that around?? Anyone remember back that far?
 
PEAKING DUCK does anyone remember him?? He was the funniest dood on BL when started. I remember his thread saying he was leaving, but i duno why and if he was comming back. Anyone know???
