hmm is it just me or does it seem that Feb-Apr is a time of 'changing of the guard' on BL??
I also signed up like march last year i think (maybe even earlier.. have to check) like so many others. and it seems that a lot of the ones haven't posted much here since feb / apr this year.
am i onto something? or merely on something?

nah, HC, I reckon you're right...Bluelight seems to get a shit load of new member just after the new years round of parties and school / uni breaks. A whole lot of people discover E during this time so no surprises there.
I've been kicking around BL since August 2000 so I'm happy to say I'm not old skool, not jaded at all

I don't remember 1999 too well, but I know I was on at least one other board before we moved here. That nasty annonymous .net thing I remember well... :p :p :p
 
Not 1999 oldschool but early 2000 (i think haven't checked my profile in a while) still check in once or twice a week don't post as much as I used to. But now know many bluelighters socially so am kept updated. As for spiral saw her on the weekend and she is fine amd still partying hard (if you read this I hope your comedown was pleasent and thanks for the 'drink').

Umm , so what happens when you change your nick all the time. I think I am the oldest Sydney sider still on with DiskoChik besides mona and the absent apples but I like to change my nick all the time to ensure my bluelight stalker does not hunt me down.
So do I Count.. a little!I remember all the people above ( well almost all)

Not sure whether I'm old skool or not Diskochik, but I'm a (mid 2000) Sydney bluelighter who's still around..... admittedly these days it's mostly just to moderate social and meetups. There's just not enough time for anything more

I see BFD, Av and Temptress regularly. They're all well but uni (and work)is keeping them pretty busy. They're still partying, you should have seen them going off at S-Range a couple of weeks ago.

Mona, Miss Apple - for shame! If you're oldskool, then I'm the headmistress, and you're both on detention for your impertinence.
My Bluelightery dates back to the old MDMA clearinghouse when there were only about 20 of us in total. I was the only Australian (at least for the first couple of weeks).
You can probably date TrueBluelight from that fateful day when Jase arrived at the clearinghouse and realised we needed something a little more sophisticated, and created this baby.
I haven't seen any of the old names from back then for ages - but then I only check in about every 6 months.
Good to see you're all keeping on keeping on. One day I'll introduce my future children and my children's children and my children's children's children to Bluelight. It'll become a family heirloom...or something!
