Oh oh - I'm getting contradictory advice.

Some say that I should be able to get to know people and get into the scene by going to festivals, that the people there are welcoming of all ages.

Some - well, at least augustaB - say that the people at a festival would regard someone of my age as a cop (which I'm not) or a square (which I am).



That gets to my original question - How do I become part of the "We" that you're referring to????

I scored a fairly substantial stash about 5 years ago. Now it looks as if it's coming to an end. My insecurity kicks in and says, where can I score now...

Well, what if you have never rolled? How do you find people in that case? Help me out, I'm looking for ideas.

In this thread the only ideas I read were: music festivals, psy parties, and the Burning Man scene. But really - Should someone new to MDMA - who has never been to (nor knows how to find) a rave or festival or psy party or any kind of spontaneous combustion - just pick an event about which he has no clue whether it is what he should be looking at, and then go by himself, and..... then what?

Here is what I wish: Someone would say to me, Hey, I know your situation, I wish someone had taken me under his wing when I was in your situation, let's meet for coffee/drinks and we can talk.

Any advice/ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

Wish you luck in your search. Can't pm you as I'm well short of 50 posts.
All the ideas about places and events seem good advice. Generally I find you attract similar people age wise- there seems a bond between older party goers. Also easier to meet people, and look less like a cop if you seem a bit "off it". I know you cant find mdma, but maybe a legal alternative is out there. Is methylone legal, where you are. I was in the states in last couple of years (I'm from UK) and it was around then. It's like a lighter version of mdma, and may loosen your inhibitions just a little. If it's legal and available, you could try it out before to get comfortable with it.
