so my buddy was saving a couple hits of l from new years and decided he didn't want them so he gave them to me. i've never saved l this long so i feel like they're a little old but they were folded up in paper quite a few times, kept out of light for the most part, and definitely stored in dry/not hot temperatures. do you guys think they are still just as good or ahas a potency decreased?

Whereas I've had good blotter degrade into subpar potency in as little as 3 weeks. But the conditions weren't optimal I also traveled with them and didn't store them very well.
I've heard stories that sounded quite alike but in some cases the acid degraded severely while in other cases there was no loss of potency after a year.
It's all about how you store it. You may think you protect it from degrading factors but not everything is as effective at sealing properly for example. Another example may be how well your house is isolated. If there are changes in temperature, that can be bad for the LSD stability.
We can tell how how exactly is the best way to store it next time but there is no way to know for us how effectively you preserved these hits.

IMO, odds are it will still work but not as strongly as when it was fresh. As is said, only one way to find out, start off slowly assuming no potency loss whatsoever.
