ok well i just wanted to know excactly
because i live in south california, and i dont roll alot maybe once 3 -4 weeks
but alot of people tha dont do it say thats or think its the wrost drug ever.

i mean ive done a shit load of reasearch on ecstasy, the only thing is the serotonin levels being depleted and memory loss, but i think thats when you do it alot

and also bout being cut with other stuff

but my friends and people say oh "puts holes in your brain" " hell no ecstasy is wrost drug"

cuz i think ecstasy is safer than weed and alcohol, i mean when your fucked up on ecstasy i still know what am i doing whereas weed your just gone and with alcohol too. and when your high or drunk, your just so stupid and out of it

thats why ecstasy thats the only drug i do

but it just pisses me off that when someone or i mention ecstasy there all like "oh fuck! your crazy" and shit like that

It certainly is not safer than cannabis, and has been proven to cause brain damage in high doses. It is also stressful on the heart.

In my opinion it is worse than alcohol and weed. The side effects from doing ecstasy every weekend are more severe than drinking or smoking weed in the weekends. Not just memory loss as you said, but also depression, anxiety etc etc.

Exctacy is one of those "moderation" drugs, if you do it every wekend like say safer drugs such as weed and alcohol, its going to fuck you up bad. If your responsible and wait at least a week between rolls (some people say month-2, i personally think a week is a good MINIMUM and you should wait a little longer then a month afterwords if you do) you should be safe.

EDIT: Holes in brain is utter bs, I wish people would stop spreading that..

As long as you keep your use down to once a month or less, imo it's pretty much harmless (assuming your aren't taking absurd doses when you do it, and as long as you stay hydrated/cool)

You can experiment with E if you do it infrequently and don't take huge dosages.

If you do E, there always comes the doubts later in life when you feel like you are declining emotionally or cognitively. You wonder if it's the E that makes you so emotionally unstable now. You might wonder why you can't seem to get this class you are taking.

My former rolling buddy had so much anxiety over this, she quit e for good. If you feel that you worry too much about your state of mind even while taking MDMA in moderation, you should consider quitting.

It's mostly dangerous because of prohibition.

Uneducated users take excessive doses, take the wrong doses, take adulterated pills, etc. They have the wrong information because its illegal and a felony to posses. Unlike marijuana, which is almost completely safe (effects 100% reversible), MDMA causes many problems because of its illegality. After all, eveyone who takes a shot of alcohol knows what constitutes a SHOT (as far as alcohol %) is and they proceed accordingly. Not so with a roll... you never know what you're going to get!

However, taking even pure MDMA frequently, more than twice a month can do temporary damage to your mood and memory levels very quickly, so it has to be used sparingly. It's debatable whether these mood/memory problems are permanent but in most cases, they are not. According to some people on this board, the temporary damage may takes months to recover, however.

It certainly doesn't give you holes in your brain. There is with mostly every drug temporary damage (as in negative effects/emotional trauma) associated with even moderate and safe doses, partially depending on the individual and their neurological structure. Considering MDMA effects the serotonin levels quite dramatically, individuals with particular neurological susceptibilities are more apt to experience trauma, which may induce a partial or permanent mental/emotional disorder(s).

Yeah, I think using ecstasy on occasion (once per month) is okay. I know people that rolled every weekend for more than a year and felt "out of it" and a bit anxious after that time.

There is a lot of misinformation though, and some people are really uninformed and just repeat what they've heard. I've had several people tell me "Did you know that you can die the FIRST time you do ecstasy" and I want to hit them.

mdma is good, thing is its too good, meaning you have to know when to stop, and take a break, thats all. R E S P O N S A B I L I T Y !

Arguing that ecstasy is worse than smoking weed and drinking alcohol because "drinking everyday isn't as bad as taking a pill a day." is stupid. I'd venture to say drinking and smoking weed 2-3 times a week is worse for you than taking a couple pills once a month. My point? Do each drug with proper time in between each use is key. You can smoke every day and not realize it's doing bad to you, even though it is. Take a pill a day and you'll realize how bad it is for you (and if you can't, others will.)

And of course, it's easier to die while on the high of E than weed/alcohol due to dehydration and other factors. (And whether you want to see it or not, a lot of users still drive while high. I'd also venture to say driving while on E is safer than being stoned or drunk.)

Just my 2 cents.

PS: It is a common belief that you should wait at least 2 months between rolls for safety reasons, but at least 3-4 weeks is better than some of my friends, who do it 1-2 times a week. :(

There are a few major factors that determine how "bad" ecstasy is for you.

How often you do it is probably the biggest. If you do it every weekend you will see negitave side effects very quickly, wheras if you wait a month or more you will see little or none.

How much you do is also important, if you're doing 1/2 a gram of molly or more in a night you're definately doing too much, or have a big tolerance. If you take a few pills or 150-200ish mg you will be alot better off.

Having clean MDMA is also huge. I can really tell if I get pure MDMA or tweak/MDMA mix not only by the high, but by the day after. Pure pills leave me with nearly no shitty feeling the next day.

If you are responsible and use common sense in your drug use you will notice almost no negitave effects from your ecstasy use. Overdo it and you could find you loose the magic in a matter of months.

I don't think MDMA is honestly hard on the heart much.

I've always been concerned with heart health, it's in my family. I could never run good and shit in PE at school. Weed made my heart feel like it was pounding so hard, and often super fast. It'd get me really freaked out. I'd only feel good if i wasn't distracted from it, and it was really hard not to think about it.

With ecstasy, it's all GOOD. I don't feel it pounding. It feels RIGHT. Even if I check my pulse, it doesn't feel fast. And nothing about it freaks me out. Even if it's a bit fast, your pulse gets raised all the time by other factors. I don't think it's very harmful.

That's with very infrequent use..

You shouldn't drink, smoke, take E, snort rails etc all the time?

Duh!

If we're all done pointing out the brutally obvious differences between people who use drugs and people who have substance abuse issues, I like the following study & article to illustrate the long term effects of E:
