OiOi! It's the world cup thread!

Knew Brazil would lose, but not this badly.. they have been riding their luck all tournament now without neymar and thiago silver no chance.

Hate Germany, dutch to beat the argies and dutch to lift the cup, please :)

I think the first thing this brazil team are going to do is get the fuck out the country pronto.
 
Honestly, I was won over by the Germans in 2010. They had so much potential for a relatively young team & they aren't disappointing now.

It's going to be a very interesting final.
 
And never come back.

Kind of surreal seeing fans sobbing 20minutes in.

If only there was a German word meaning 'taking pleasure in somebody else's misery'
 
I hope no drunken Germans take a wrong turn and end up in the favelas tonight.

I dont even like football but that was great to watch

I love the way you guys can't even watch a football match without posting on Bluelight. Is it really that addictive? lol Just enjoy the match and shut the computer down for 90 minutes.



At the same time, great to see the reactions as the goals happened.


To think Germany could only beat Algeria 2-1 in a round before, shows how truly shocking and unexpected this result is. One of the most shocking matches in world cup history, ever. Glad I got the night off work to witness it.


In fairness to Brazil they did play better in the second half. If the second half performances were applied to the first half, at half time we would be saying "2-1 Germany, this match could go either way". But it's the end result that people will look at, and that is an unfathomable scoreline.

The only reason the Germans play so well is because they're trying to make up for everything else they've lost in the past.

My concentration is pretty poor what with my anxiety problems at the moment... I'm not exactly an avid football fan either bar watching the world cup. :D
 
No matter who wins the world cup I win as I have money on all the remaining teams and I will get back more than I bet as well :) Hope they don't get pissy about paying out as I did 'safe' bets across the board and worked out the maths on the returns so I would be up no matter what.

Fucking 'ell... I can see how it's possible with the World Cup though.

I'm up either £225 (possibly even £252.50) or £40 depending on who wins. :)
