So.. just because I wear colorfull bracelets and big pink pants I am a tard... I think not.. I am so sick of you inbreds deciding to just reek havoc on message boards because you have nothing better to do... I mean really what do you gain from being an asshole on here? Oh wait that's right you get the satisfaction from US the ones who reply back... well whatever.. I like what I was wearing and I had a blast.... Sucks for you that you just decided to dis it instead of enjoy it!

Why are you guys hatin so much? Puting down the party, the talent, everything. Even going so childish to make fun of other people? WTF man? Kandi Kids are as much a part of the scene as DNB heads, house heads, etc....You really need to stoop to such a low level as to call people names because of what theyre wearing? Grow up

On a better note....The party rocked!!!! The sound and lights were amaaazing! Definately felt like an old school party lol...The DJs pounded it all nite long and my ears were ringing most of the next day!

I thought that the party was off the hook for there being no headliners really... I had a blast and am glad that things went smoothly!!!!

you yourself as a human being are probably not a genuine tard. however, the outfit you decided to parade around the rave in AND display the photographic evidence of the fashion atrocity that is "kandy" simply implies the fact that YES!! you look like a fuckin weirdo. you wouldn't wear that to work/school/church/in public, etc. i'm all for embracing your inner weirdo and flying your freak flag but for God's sake keep it to yourself so people like me won't make fun of you and hurt your precious feelings.

makes sense to me.

um...i think THEY need to grow up. it's my duty as a human being to call 'em as i see 'em and that "kandi" trend, my naive friend, is what i call "retarded".

i thought thats what bluefight is for?? but really, you take this shit a little too serious. just relax and eat some pills or something

i think we should kick all of the kandi kids out of "old rave" culture and send them to "nu rave". nurave is still all about looking like a colorblind 5 yr old

and if you dont know what nurave is

Did anyone see the little blonde girl from Europe (I think she said Sweden) ? She was running around with a black long-sleeved dress and a cream-colored scarf, clutching onto some balloon for dear life?

I dunno why, but she made me laugh, especially when she would only dance with the balloon.

She was nice, but I don't think she spoke much English. Oh well.

I got the impression she couldn't speak much English when I talked to her (she sat down next to me (without asking! Weird! Just snuggled right up to me) when I was getting a light show). Not to mention, I think she was on a pretty strong dose of happiness...if you know what I mean. I think she said it was her first time, maybe? I dunno, hard to understand her...very heavy accent.

She became so upset with me when I tried to hold her balloon. Ahaha. I love the people I meet at these things!

I rather enjoy the "nurave" style. Lots of neons and bright colors. The main difference is the clothes are tighter and there are a lot less objects to put in your mouth.

In a dying scene, a nu anything should be appreciated, not compared to the "way things used to be". I am a believer that the scene only dies because we say it does; everything evolves and we collectively decide how. If it's and end we want, an end we will get.

Here's to dance music and party people in 2008.

i honestly pray that nurave dies off rather quickly.

they look (and kinda sound) like a kandi kid molested an emo rocker.

purely an opinion...

I'm gonna go ahead and agree on the public forum. I think the "kandi" stuff looks silly, it makes me laugh. I'm with Mr Bateman, if you wanna do it go for it, it's america after all. I think an "interesting" fashion sense is still ok, the patriot act may have changed that but I'm not sure. I have friends who do the "kandi" thing from time to time and I still hang out with them and think they're fine human beings but I also laugh when I see their "kandi" stuff. It's good to hear this went well, Kudos to ITG. Looks like a great turnout, had I not been playing in indy, broke, and driving my roomies expensive car I would've checked it out myself. I still do have a soft spot for "the rave vibe" kinda miss it sometimes even...

I went a few times without kandi and I missed it//// I got jealous when I saw a phat piece of kandie too so I guess I just can't give it up... it's fun to see what people come up with!

I think I found the girl with the balloon her picture is attatched is this her?
