glad you guys really put some creative energy into organizing timeslots by giving yourselves the best 3 hours of the night!!!

3 hours of mind-numbing, shitty trance for NYE!

WOO HOO!!

the more and more i look at this lineup, the more i realize how much the promoters are genuinely ripping off the potential attendees.

ps. much love to see the 3 Indy acts get the 3 worst possible timeslots. first 2 opening hours in the basement and last hour upstairs....

also, how much is it after 11 oclock? i know i wont be there anytime before then. TIA.

Still trying to figure out if I want to go. I just hate going to these things by myself. I almost hate to miss it now that Trevor has such a great time slot though. He fucking killed it at Reindeer Droppings last year.

anyone from the indianapolis area going that could hook me up with a ride would be greatly appreciated

I don't remember any of those things happening at the parties I threw there...(maybe the glow sticks though) lol

------------ Did they even HAVE glow sticks at your first party?

My first real party was at this venue back in 2000. I'm sure there will be hundreds of people getting the same experience that I did the first time. If one person leaves this show as moved as I was, then to me that is a success in itself. . .

----------- Have you gotten anyone to volunteer for the 'one person leaving the show as moved as you...' --- yet??? 'Cuz I'll do it. . . just so you are going out there KNOWING this will FOR SURE be a success. . .

b. Promoters/Agents (including myself) couldn't vote which rules out the most active people in the scene beyond DJs leaving behind a bunch of kids that are going to essentially for their dj buddy friend and not for ppl that actually have talent.

----------- ... ouch ... --- i guess out of curiosity I have to ask --- ... b/c i seriously don't know ---
What caliber of 'talent' have you brought out to YOUR events lately?

Jay-P Gold said:
I agree that it is nice to see a full scale event going off, but I know for a fact what it costs to put on a rave, and for what they are charging ... there should be something at least remotely resembling a headliner.

----------- we all know that true 'professional promoters follow up with something like this -----------

Jay-P Gold said:
Seriously, how many of the DJs on this lineup actually getting paid something more than gas money?

----------- WACK ---- It doesn't take a freshman in 'Networking 101' to tell you NEVER to talk about the terms at which artists perform. . . That's between the promoter and the artist.

Remember Jason, it's not really a party until the naked guy shows up trippin

i think your right mr. bateman...he had on some chuck taylors and a beard...that's about it...ohhhh and a baggy of acid in his sock...lol

----------- name: Cosmo Hawkins -- from: Ohio

scenario: A young patron with only shoes and socks was dancing HORRIFICALLY close to the tone arm of the left turntable - swinging his arms DANGEROUSLY close to contact -- Acutely noticing 'the talent behind the decks' 'Nauti Groove' showed Cosmo where the door leading to outside was...

Outside : Tim Krochalk held Cosmo's arm as he used up his excess energy doing circles around Tim while Tim put his leg out for Cosmo, tripping *pun intended* to a full frontal landing to the concrete --- TWICE ---

I can still hear that sound in my head

Until the security 'Stafford' arrived on the scene ... detaining Cosmo until the paddy wagon showed up. After the event I was left with a Terry MUllan CD and Cosmo's driver's license.

in the past 2 weeks, i have brought out dieselboy and tech itch.

in about 2 weeks, i will be hosting infiltrata and annalyze

and in a bout a month and a half will be dara and atlantic connection.

oh, and i just sent off the offer sheets for juju and danny byrd in april.

when was your last event?

Party was fun of course. The good ol gym club didn't fail. Got there late (1am) due to Kristen and I working till 10:30. The venue was about 3/4 full. Good times, good tunes, place hasn't changed at all. System was a thumping (ears still ringing.) Some snow on the way home and two people got pulled over right in front of us on the way there (close call) but other than that, all in all a good night. No problems. Hope to go to some more events at the gym club.
