Jason....please forgive me for not being there to support you last night. I was ill & could not make it. I was definitely there in spirit as I was thinking of you all night, wishing I was there! I guess my loss isn't that great as you advanced to the finals:)....^did I read that right?? So I won't miss the finals for the world!!!

Are any of the sets from the battle availble for download?
I would have loved to be there to see my boy, Billy B, in action, but Im halfway across the world. So, I would love to hear the set you dropped B! How did it turn up?

Anyhow, these battles are a cool idea. No matter the outcome - it gives some lesser known djs the chance to showcase their skills and opens more opportunities for them.

Is DJ Shark the same DJ Shark Im thinking of - Dan Henderson?

BTW, Im conducting research for my consumer research class and need more input. If you could check out the music & DJS forum to take a short survey, it would be greatly appreciated. The forum is entitled: short survey for consumer research class. I have collected some data thus far, but I really need more responses in order to draw any conlusions. Thanks in advance and good luck to all of the contestents for the rest of the prelims and further rounds.

Thanks guys! I had a blast! Cubby was on FIRE man! I didn't know he could scratch like that. Catnap was great with that Booty shit, and Billy B... DAMN!!! 3 tables and shit, and I like the new style you are playing bro. Good luck to all my homies in the finals!
 
i had a lot of fun last night! Jason tore it up as expected. dope techy / housey set, very much on point the whole way through. I wasn't feeling the other DJ's except Billy - i like the new direction he's taking with his track selection and mixing. the crowd went nuts for the booty bass i dropped, but i guess that wasn't enuff to win it, heheheh. oh well, mixing 11 records in 15 minutes is definately a personal best for me, even if it was a bit sloppy. with everyone screaming and dancing tho, i didn't really care - it was a wonderful feeling. i haven't had that much fun on the decks in a while! guess i gotta drop da booty more often. :)

Yo ...Catnap fukin killed it! loved that set man.....can't believe it didn't place tho.....thought for shur ya would but hey...I had a fukin blast!!! Cubby ripped sum shit up too! very nice....look forward to seein ya next week @ the semi's. Did see him scratch which was killah but don't be fooled ...the scratching ya heard during that life is all about "Expression" track is ON THA RECORD!!! not sayin Cubby was tryin ta fool any one jus sayin in case peeps weren't payin attention and thought that was him. The mixes were tight tho.....swsitchin basslines n all that....good luck nxt wk.

Dan Henderson is DJ Shark. He just got back from FL about 3 months ago from school.

The sets are not available this year but I think thats something that should be done for the finals.
