Are they hotmail/yahoo/gmail type emails or is it with another provider?

If its another provider there is always the chance the they have blocked emails from bluelight as spam.

Sending the email activation manually is exactly the same from an admin as:

http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/register.php?do=requestemail that link.

Which I think you said you'd tried. I can't think of anything else it could be (unless BL's email function is messed up, but I don't think it is).

My main email is talk talk/ tiscali. Also tried hotmail. If theres nothing else that can be done I may try my work email address (dont really want to do that as it can be monitored)
 
Before trying your work email address why not try a gmail account? I seem to be getting emails from bl from gmail.
 
Welcome to BL mydrugbuddy.An Admin has to do a manual resend. I'll point this thread out for you. Hope we get this straightened out for you soon. If both emails happened to be yahoo accts I'd recommend trying one more time with a gmail acct as yahoo disappears BL mail quite often and I have not known gmail to drop BL mail.
 
Be sure to check your spam folder, and that you have the email address listed correctly. If that doesnt work you can have the email resent using the link listed above on this page. :)
 
I should have suggested the spam box and bulk first as Fizzle did. Good thingFizzle beat me to it to the answer, here was my answer:

Hi Ph0r.W3-R-m4ny. It is usually less than an hour. We have not disallowed any mail services afaik, but some mail services appear to have problems with Bluelight emails. I don't remember safe-mail net being one of the problematic ones but if you haven't gotten the verification email after a couple hours and you have checked to make sure your email was entered correctly I'd assume there is a problem.

Hopefully it was a one time problem. http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/register.php?do=requestemail is a means to have the email resent. If that fails I'd probably try another email service :(

my account has not been activated

i filled out my name, email and password and "key" word at bottom then hit enter and got a Big message saying "your account has not been activated" then directed me here to ask for help. so HELP PLEASE?
