Hi, how do I make a new thread? When I'm at the home page, where to I click to make a new discussion/post? I cannot find it anywhere.

from the homepage click on the specific sub-forum where you wish to make a new thread then look for the
newthread.gif
button in the left corner of your screen.

I finally figured out how to activate Bluelight from the email I got. You could issue clearer instructions, like the simple "click on this link to activate your Bluelight account." I had mistakenly written a long email and tried to post it under New Members, but no cigar. I'd still like to post, how the heck do I do it?
 
your account seems to be activated - have you tried posting outside of this thread?

It says something about not selecting a forum topic... but there is no option for that on Mobile Opera Browser.
 
What is a thread prefix? I can't post a new topic because there is no thread prefix. I don't know what that is - thanks.
 
Ya that was pretty vague. Sorry bout that. I was tryin to add a thread into the other drugs forum specifically methamphetamine. There was no option to start a new thread. So i went back to the others drugs directory where they have all the topics listed. It had the option for starting a new thread so i tried it. It kept saying i needed a thread prefix. Not sure what that is. Thanks for your help
 
Is there a megathread about not being able to PM? I've been getting a message my PMs can't be sent until I delete some. My understanding is you get 100. I have only 4-5, yet every time I try to send one I have to delete another.

as long as the photo is within the size requirements it should be no different than posting an avatar photo.

settings>edit profile picture

greenlighters cannot add profile pictures, you have to make 50 posts to get bluelighter status.
 
Ok. Getting REALLY frustrated here. Need help. I was trying to find someone who could tell me how many more posts I need to get out of greenlight status and I want to change my name. I may be slow to answer

You need 50 posts to be a blue lighter, and unless things changed you have to PM admin for a name change and they only do it once and for a donation IIRC

On the mobile site, there's blue type just under the yellow guidelines banner after you click on your forum.

PS this works for every section except Other Drugs, for OD you need to add a sub section which the option isn't given on mobile so you'd have to go to the full site to submit it on a phone, or post in homeless and ask a mod to move it to OD
