Problems registering and contacting admins

Hi,

I'm having problems registering at this forum and hope someone can help..

I tried to register with the nickname "mindbliss" but the e-mails confirming registration were not delivered to my mailbox with my ISP (PlusNet) even though they claim the mailbox is unfiltered. I've also been unable to get a password reminder e-mail so pretty sure it's a problem with e-mails to this mailbox.

They requested I contact the forum admin's to get a copy of the bounced e-mail or the reason why the e-mail did not send and said they couldn't help me without that.

I have tried to contact the forum admin's directly but none of them have any e-mail addresses or contact methods available other than AIM or Yahoo, neither of which I use. There also doesn't seem to be any way to contact admin's directly with a message unless you're logged in and confirmed.

Finally I had to re-register with another e-mail address and temporary account username to post here.. this account has also not been confirmed as I didn't get the e-mail, probably filtered by my spam filters on this address.

If someone could get back to me about my first account and the reason why e-mails are not being delivered, I'd appreciate it. :(
 
Hi thanks for the quick reply..

Just to clarify, on my PlusNet Webmail service there is no spam filtering at all and no spam folder. I have checked the "trash" folder and there is nothing there.
 
Mindbliss is not awaiting email confirmation so you must have figured it out?

I have emailed the randomness account email again check your spam box, but please only use one of the above accounts its against the rules to use more than one.

Hi Chr1.5, thanks for looking into this.

I have not confirmed the Mindbliss account as I have not received the confirmation e-mail which is why I had to re-register again to contact you via the forum as I couldn't send private messages.

I'm not intending to have two accounts and will close this temporary "randomness" account once I can figure out how to login to my original account. I had no choice, it was either do that, or not use your forum basically.

Since I cannot get any e-mails from your server for some reason to my ISP which is not filtering e-mails, I'm unable to get a password reminder.

If you could e-mail me a password reminder to my registered e-mail address from a different mail server perhaps that might be a solution?

I can confirm as of 09:50 GMT that your server is still not sending password reminders (for Mindbliss) to my PlusNet ISP e-mail account which I can also confirm is definitely not filtered in any way.

If you could verify this e-mail has been sent and hasn't bounced, I'd appreciate it, as I can then take up the issue with my ISP.

If the e-mail does bounce, if you could e-mail me the returned e-mail and headers, that would be helpful as my ISP has requested that.
 
The Mindbliss account IS activated... Its under the greenlighter usergroup, not the users awaiting email confirmation one.

What I suspect is you've given the wrong email address and someone else has had the email and activated it.

I would suggest Creating a new account, with a gmail email address and make sure its all spelt correctly etc.

There's nothing we can do for you if the [email protected] email address is wrong.

Ah, I must of confirmed it and forgot. That e-mail address is from my old ISP and I no longer have access to it.

Ok plan B: Can you cancel that Mindbliss account I will just continue to use this account instead?

Only problem is this account is coming up as "not activated", does that mean not confirmed by me, or not activated by admin staff?

I resent the activation email for this account. Did you check all your folders for it.

If you did i suggest you try and use a different email address... perhaps a gmail or similar and remember to check spam folders.

You need to respond to the activation email sent to the email account you inputted upon registration. Check your spam folder if it is not in your inbox.
 
I'm trying to start a thread in legal and it won't let me. It says I don't have privilege or I need to activate my account...and I know I don't need to activate so what's up?
