I used to do that too. Although, doing dope IV used to make me throw up somewhat often. I think I just had a delicate stomach. I'd definitely throw up if I did a shot big enough. (Keep in mind I was doing tar)
I used to be able to throw up just thinking about a shot too.
Drinking ginger ale used to help a little bit. Other than that, just breathe through your mouth. Don't let yourself SMELL it.pamalamadingdong

I think that would destroy the dope. At least if it was tar. Acetone MELTS plastic.

I have heard of it being done but never saw it...
I have heard of people using acetone to clean/wash their heroin especially with tar,and I have read about it also,but I have no idea personaly how it is done.I have seen and done an acetone wash with crystal meth,however heroin and crystal meth are of course two different drugs.I do know that the acetone needs to be vaped off or left to dry out well or you will pass out for a few minutes or less when injecting...I'm not saying use acetone but is there a comparable method using someother chemical? Or is the fact the dope is water soluble and that basically cleans out the junk but what about for people who don't slam their shit?
I really don't want to pick up the needle but my habit is gettin up there and I'm sure its not good for my lungs or nose

I find that very often if I do a shot that makes me feel nauseous, the next time I even get to start opening bags to get ready to shoot again, it'll make me nauseous. I usually won't puke from it, but I'll get the mouth watering and gagging feeling like I'm about to.

Did you go to South Korea to get clean? Im just curious of your story, you said you've been there for 6 weeks and already see your self using when you come back?
I've been thinking about "running away," "taking a trip," "insert words here" to get clean. Obviously South Korea sounds good if weed isn't even around, though I dont think I'd have the financial means to get my self there and live.
I am just curious what was your habit like before you left. Did you leave against your will or you wanted to go and get clean?
I'm always 2 sided, its like one part of me hates drugs, I envy people who are straight edge. Then theres the devil side that wants to get high, just one time jjust one day but its like a constant cycle. I know i'd be happier clean but I keep my self doing this thing. Lately its been getting high 1-3 days (basically blowing all ym money) then having 1 shitty day transitioning to sub then feeling like 80% while im on sub then i get money again and start the cycle again.
I am just curious what your intentions were when you left for korea

Alright, I've only done this twice but it works. I read it somewhere online, forgot where, but I followed it step by step and I noticed a huge difference.
Your gonna need a couple bags of dope, each time I used 5 (half a bundle) which it's not a huge amount of powder, but it will do.
Your going to need household bleach, Drano and brake fluid (for the car). You can pretty much get all that stuff at a supermarket or walmart.
Dump the dope out into a shot glass. Add 3 tablespoons of brake fluid, 3 tablespoons of Drano and just a splash of bleach (like a teaspoon) to get the reaction going. Your going to want to heat this mixture up so get out your bunson burner. Heat it for like a good 10-20 seconds until it's boiling slightly.
Remove. Let it cool. You should be left with a brown sludge. That stuff is pretty much 90%+ heroin hydrochloride. It will never be 100%, but close enough. You will notice you lost a bit of powder, but that's good. If you want to shoot it, just draw up like 50 units and mix it right in the shot glass. Be careful, I wouldn't shoot it all at once though. If you snort, I would put it on a plate and put it in the microwave for a bit. It should dry up into a nice dry powder.

I came here as part of my gap year before starting college in September '11. I taught one conversational English group and one individual. I haven't been physically hooked for a year but I started using a couple months after getting off of Suboxone near the end of this school year and it was starting to get out of hand in terms of risky/reckless behavior, lying to my parents, manipulating them, etc.
So eventually they found out and they said they weren't ready to send me to college. It was Korea or another less pleasant alternative for a while, like some outdoor soul searching rehab type shit, so I decided to go to Korea (something I wanted to do anyway). When I get back I think my parents will have cooled somewhat and after a while (once I get a job, hopefully at the Northwestern library, and go to NA/AA meetings several times a week) they will become less vigilant.
My situation isn't the same as yours, so I can't say how 'taking a trip' would work for you, but it hasn't helped with the psychological cravings for me. All it's done (other than provide me with a great experience) in terms of drugs is physically kept me from doing them. I don't know if I expected it to clear my mind and cause some revelation that would keep me clean for the rest of my life, but it hasn't done that. Best of luck man. At least you have the Sub(utex?) to use freely.

Better hope the Drano aka Lye(Sodium Hydroxide) is used up somehow in that reaction,or you seperate and filter the dope from the lye containing solution,because the lye(Drano) will eat through skin and soft tissue to the bone and is activated with water/blood etc.. to cause severe alkaline burns.I would use a solvent and add to that mixture to wash out all the lye,and bleach left altho brake fluid is a solvent although a dirty one.Ether although explosive or acetone would be good solvents and I would make sure to filter using a solvent to make sure that the lye and bleach are "washed" out of that slude solution...I would not draw up an injection from that solution unless it had been washed and I knew the lye was either evaporated or made into a neutral substance by chemicaly altering it with an acid,or that a solvent had seperated the lye out of the mixture...

Acetone is not that bad if it is dryed or vapped off..
there are other ways than acetone ,but acetone will evaporate from the mixture and will not cause any harm once it had dried out and evaporated,either by letting it dry (evaporate) normally or using a low heat source to further vap it off quickly ..just make sure it is nice and dried out(the dope) and the acetone will be evaporated by then...good luck..

Acetone may melt plastic but you use glass to wash with acetone and make sure it is all vapped off(evaporated) when doing your substance..a heat lamp or just placing the stuff in a warmish room overnight will allow it to be acetone free and recrystalized(repowdered) with all acetone being going through evaporation.

what made you relapse? Are drug addicts like children and need constantly baby sat?

Being 'baby sat' will not deter an addict who is not ready to get clean. Sure placing restrictions on their mobility, communication, etc may keep them from using for a while, but it will for the most part only serve to build resentment and distrust. And if your sister is determined enough, she will find a way to acquire drugs regardless.
