What gonna start taking subs but woke up with some minor WDs and saw I had 80bucks so I just went anfd copped instead...I kinda wish I took the sub but havin money and not being able to take dope until wed didn't feel right so I just spent my money and figured I'd try it weds...its hard givin yourself a reason not to do dope when money isn't a huge issue..I don't have a job or a serious girl atm so with out the dope whatelse would I do?

I think I am going to switch from H to pods for economical reasons, I know this sounds absurd but I have a terrible connect. The tar I get is far too expensive and shitty to be worth the trouble. The last time I got some H it was especially shitty so I ended up doing both Gs in one night. You guys ever try to fix one up with a g of tar and 50 units of water? It gets to a point where the tar won't dissolve into the water anymore and the solution is rather viscous.
We may take different paths, but we are all chasing the same thing.

man that sounds like the worst tar in the world. You'd be better off raising your own poppies and harvesting them, then doing the conversion process to h. that way if you have something thats bunk, you have nobody to blame but yourself!
Also, chinky, yeah man you should get out and socialize while you're doing dope. If you don't have much to do you should create some fun for yourself, otherwise you'll end up using far too often. Even as a daily user I still force myself to get out and socialize since I know if I'm drinking with friends, that's a bit of dope that I won't do that night and can save for the next day.jcksupeman

I'm from Chi but I'm living in Korea for the next ten months, partially because my parents didn't want me going to college this year (U of C, in the hood lol) unless I had more clean time. Anyway, I left the States on the 13th, so the night before that was the last time I used.
Usually when I was using regularly I would cop from the West Side or (in the beginning) from the North Side right by the Evanston border. However, for this last time, I got .4 of raw chunky H from Skokie through a friend. After 5 months of snorting I switched to the needle, but on the 12th I was doing the dope with my boyfriend, who hates the idea of me shooting it. This H was CRAZY. Even snorting less than .1 got me nodding hard. Part of this may have been because I had taken about 5mg of clonazepam a few hours earlier, but I have a high benzo tolerance. The two of us couldn't even get through all of it that night. After toking some mad kush I pretty much passed out for a while, only to awake at sunrise to snort another tiny bump and then catch my flight to Beijing.
So, anyone from Chi have experience with dope from Skokie? I'd heard that there's a lot there but until last Thursday I'd never had the opportunity to try any. I actually live just north of the city, adjacent to Skokie, so a solid phone connect there would be convenient - albeit inaccessible via El. Then again, I do so enjoy the journey out to the Wild West; it gets me high as surely as the actual product.
Anyway, you guys are making me fiend like crazy for some good ol' West Side diesel... and I'm halfway around the goddamn world, in a country that suppresses drug use effectively. God damn it. At least I wasn't hooked this time, withdrawal on a 14 hour flight would have been TERRIBLE.PhantomPt2

^ Welcome. I know how you feel. Man dope is ALL OVER not only just Chicago right now but dope boys are sprouting up all over the surrounding suburbs too. For a long time I thought you could only get dope at a good price by going to some sketchy ass part of the west or southside of the city, and if you got it from the burbs you'd be buying it at a jacked up price from some dumb white junkies. Then I found a dude who was 10-15 mins outside of the city selling shit for a great price. One word, Maywood. It was still kind of risky because it's a 90% black area but it's not nearly as fuckin bad as the west side. Much much closer too. And I've never been stopped. knock on wood.
Anyway... I went to rehab recently and found out that there is a dude who slangs that literally lives in these apartments that are walking distance from my house, and I live 20-25 minutes outside the city in a west/southwest suburb. After I found out you could get dope in walking distance from my house I knew that it was going to be a struggle to stay clean. I eventually did give the dude a call and he has some flame ass blows in foil that knocked me on my ass.
It's made it A LOT harder to stay clean knowing that I no longer have to make the 20-30 minute trip to the city every single day just for some dope that might not even be that good, and risking my freedom every single day for it. Back when I was new, it was a cat and mouse game going to the city every day and busting my ass trying to get shit. Now I can stay in the burbs and not have to go more then 10-15 minutes out of my way, and meet up in a completely safe area with tons of white people. Makes it way more convenient, almost too convenient. I've even heard of fucking open air markets popping up in the suburbs, like what the fuck? That's just mind blowing to me.
It's just weird how after you're around for a little while you start finding all kinds of connects. At first I had to fucking search high and low for something, now shit just falls into my lap without even trying. It's a good and bad thing for sure.
See I don't even want to go out until I get high..people call and I don't answer and if I do go out best believe I did a few bags and prollu got a few more in my pocket to do in the bathroom or in my car

See when I was ripping and running hard, I wouldn't socialize with my normal friends who just drink and smoke pot. Not because I was sitting on my couch watching baseball nodding out. It was usually because I was doing stupid shit to get money, always looking for a move to make, going here, going there, copping here, finding places to shoot up, etc. Most of the time I would be with a fellow junkie or two. Usually once I was satisfied and taken care of at least for a while, I would go meet up and socialize. That's if it wasn't 4 am or made some promises and burned them. Now, with coke it was a whole different story. I would just lock myself in a room and shoot coke until it was gone. Tweaked out of my head. I remember one time, me and a friend just scored some blow and dope and went to a party with a bunch of people we knew. It was pretty obvious because we were going outside and disappearing to my car every 5 minutes. When I look back on it, it just might be better to not mix the two lives we lead.

yeah I get what you're saying, I used to have pretty bad social anxiety til I started doin pharms and such, but I think I kinda got over that since even in WDs I can socialize and shit. But yeah dude for a long time I'd only leave home to hang out if I had done some pills or snorted/smoked some powder. Lol its a bit more difficult to hang out with people and keep your buzz going when you switch to slamming if you're trying to hide the fact that you shoot. There's only so many 5-10 minute bathroom breaks you can take per night, especially in public places lol.
So even if I don't WANT to go out til i get high nowadays, I still force myself to and generally have a good time in the end. It helps a lot to have a few drinks though, and to be around pretty good friends.
Thanks for the reply bro..yeah I actually don't worry much about the itching, except once when iafter about 5 minutes I got this insane looking rash all over my chest area, which was weird also since I shoot where most junkies shoot (the inner forearm area on the elbow bend).
do you get tar? IMO tar itches the most because of its lesser refinement...which means it has several opiate alkaloids in it (codiene, morphine, thebaine, etc) in addition to heroin and its actually well documented that codiene-especially in higher doses- is usually the most itchy narcotic for most people.
There is also a certain cut that will produce extra itchiness so as to give off the impression that it's stronger dope. I can't remember which cut it is, but I've heard of it being used in conjunction with diphenhydramine(which helps kick in the nod) to fool the consumers
I personally have stopped using diphen with my dope because I started to notice my lungs getting wheezy and were taking on asthma characteristics. As soon as I stopped the diphen it instantly went away. which, I digress for a moment, but apparently a lot of chicago H snorting addicts are rushed to the ER for asthma attacks. The reason why it's seen a lot in chicago is because chi dope is notoriously cut with dormin(diphen). This actually happened to a friend of mine that fucks with the west side D (this is actually why he switched from snorting to the needle) and when he told me about it I got real paranoid cause I had just started noticing my lungs getting wheezy, etc. So let that be a warning to any dope sniffers out there that are noticing their lungs getting weaker; either start mainlining your shit or start getting raw...or else you're going to be in for an unpleasant surprise.

It sometimes just seems kinda random where you get a rash after a shot, but if you shoot into your forearm, the vein there is going to be carrying blood back toward your heart, so the chestal area (my made-up scientific term...i think its actually thoracic cavity or something) is going to be its first stop before traveling toward the brain. so some of the heroin probably makes it out via capillaries in the chest, triggering that localized immune response we talked about.
I get the huge chest rash too,and of course, it just gets even redder from scratching at it!
You can use benadryl, claratin, or any antihistamine to take care of the itch and rash like you would any allergy, or you can wait for it to go away on its own if it happens again.
The itch is one of the side effects I get tolerant to the most quickly each time I start using opiates again, IIRC other people have reported that it tends to go away quickly for them, too, only to return when they switch opiates or quit for a while before starting up again.

I live in a suburb just north of the city but haven't seen anything like that.... at my HS, which is in a kinda sketchy area, I was one of only 3 ppl I knew of who did dope. word word. However I doubt you would run into a lot of younger gangbangers who fuck with diesel. Actually for a lot of street gangs it's pretty against their "code of honor" to fuck with hard drugs, it's greatly discouraged for sure. Now, does it slip through the cracks and some, maybe many of em even turn into addicts, for sure. But usually they just slang the shit all day long and not use it.
