Picked Germany along with 99% of the world but got caught with me pants down by Equador.

Grudgingly I select Engerland tonight plus the Argies and Sweedn I think is the other one.
 
doofqueen - honestly, was that comment even serious? people kill themselves (and others) over football. If the world only had 1000 people - 999 would 'love' football and the remaining person would 'like' it. Thankfully you are in Australia, because your 'question' would be considered sedition in any other country.

Tonight i've gone Paraguay with the (+0.5) handicap (already over), Sweden to win outright (T+T are impossible to have) and Ivory Coast with the (+0.5) handicap ...

So far (3 games) my system is working well. Ecuador got up for me and Costa Rica and Paraguay gave both Germany and England a decent scare.

The Germany - Costa Rica match was an absolute cracker :)

MazDan - TABsportsbet strips millions of $$$ from favourite punters and redistribute some of it to people who select upsets. Bookmakers make money by 'laying' (betting against) the favourites. Just a hint ;)

In Zurich at the moment. What a holiday this is turning out to be. Heading to Frankfurt fomorrow. The atmosphere around the bars and pubs is awesome. I wish every true football lover could be here.

diego - yes it was. I wasn't saying it's stupid to like it or anything. I just don't like watching any sports thats all. People that i know that also are not really into sports are into the world cup so i was just wondering if it was me. I wasn't dissing it or anything.

I was really hoping lil Iran would pull a draw out of that game.

But Mexico really blasted their way through the second half.

I am so tempted to watch the Portugal vs. Angola match. I just love how everyone is predicting such a dirty grudge duel between the two of them.

Supposedly last time they met up Portugal was winning 5-1 when Angola lost the match due to 4 red cards.

But it is getting late... and I have seen every match over the weekend... with things to do tomorrow...

I love the World Cup.

The Japs have come out and asked the refs to watch our game, due to how physical we played against the Dutch... but hello, its football, not the fuckin chess club, go put on your skirt and drink your sake if your going to fuckin cry about it...

Im hoping for a 2-1 aussie win...

so stressful, so much pressure on them!!! I kept flicking back to Four Corners but they just had nasty animal experiments on so stress through every attempt for goal it is for me!!

YAY! i love the world cup so so much!!! :D

so far I think I am going about half half with my tips...only 3 people from the melbourne office are in the tipping comp, and I'm tying with one, so that's not too bad :D

fuck that goal they let in from japan :X if that causes me to lose that tip (and less importantly causes Australia to be ousted ;)) I'll be fucking pissed!
