OFFICIAL Break Beat MEGATHREAD

i love breaks....im getting so many track ideas reading this myself....

anyone know of a good site to get records? ive been using global beats, but their breaks selection isnt the greatest, and when you finally find some florida breaks or some electro breaky shit, after sifting through all the trancey breaks and progressive stuff, most of the good tracks are sold out, with in minutes of being posted on the new releases.... :(

some good sites for breaks records....

I listed it above, but www.gigafunk. com is a great site. They have a huge section on Florida breaks alone. www.paintedpuppy.com is also a great site for breaks. I think it's Rick West's label site and he puts all his fav. new releases on it. And the best site in my opinion for records all together is www.dancerecords.com, they have sections for all styles and a great search engine where you can look for very specific styles i.e. dark nu school breaks, funky breaks, etc. Also their download time for samples is fast, and there is an option on search to only see in stock items. These are all great sites. Check your records too, most of them have a web address on them for their own label. Good luck!

thanks for the sites. that giga thing didnt work :( but i sifted throug painted puppy....looks good...

dancerecords.com is what sent me to global beats....the only things i can get from there are icey tracks, and tho their good as hell, i cant have sets of nothing but icey...blah...

bring on the tony faline! lol

Check out the Rennie Pilgrim Perfecto samplers - particularly the one with London Voodoo and the Kelis remix on it. Sweet as.

... www.gigafunkrecords.com sorry about that. It's a great site for breaks, hope it works for you. right on Tony Faline! Sharaz puts it down too! good luck on your search!................. breakbeat junkie!=D

yeah, sharaz has some good shit out, i have a track of his, whats that sound , i think its a bit on the cheezy side, but i adore the distorded beats and bass, it makes things come up a notch in my sets, and makes for a good transition track between some of my more trancey electro shit to the harder stuff.

im also diggin on killer elite and elite force right now...more progressive than im used to, but breaks is an obsession, so as long as its electro as hell sounding, im fucknig there. :)

i liked it :) a little too trancey for my liking, but id end a set with it, or maybe even start with it :P

anyone here ordered records from moonshine? i ordered a couple, cuz i was bored and browsing through, and its taken them forever to send out...and none of my friends have had that problem....how about you guys?

I generally get my records from planetxusa.com, rarely been disappointed by them. (I buy mainly NuBreaks)
