the op was wondering because of the smoking (tabbocco) ban in the netherlands though i suspect.
 
yeah, i was worried about the smoking ban but last time i was there, smoked a few spliffs with baccy and no one seemed to notice or care. I did try and be discreet whilst rolling though.
 
Nearly all of the small coffee shops and pubs have ignored the anti-smoking laws, and the polititians have said the won't do much or anything about it.

There is also a group whom you can donate to and many bars add their tips to which pays for anti-smoking fines.

For tobacco, I mean.

If you go to a pub there, just ask the bartender if you can have a ciggy, or if others are then do the same.

Can you get into clubs in shorts and trainers ? donºt want to bring many clothes :-) not really bothered about clubbin but was thinking might be best to get in somewhere so I can ask around for proper X .

The last time I was there I was asked to put my spliff out whilst sitting outside a pub in the red light district 8) wtf

Why do you care, if its exclusive, its going to be dutch only mainly.
Hotel Arena's a bastard never made it in there
The Winston, Melkweg, Paradiso are all quality and worth a visit, they are not discriminatory either.

Don't go to clubs in shorts and trainers.
Seriously though you may not have much luck in the clubs, just ask everyone you meet.
 
Tobacco is illegal in all coffeeshops - pretty much all of them will tell you not to put tobacco in your joints - if you ask them.

Very few actually care, aslong as you aren't blatantly obvious (some coffee shop owners asked us to come and put away out tobacco mess (filter, fag packet, etc)) but if you're discreet they don't really bother.
 
what is the LSD supply in amsterdam like? i have always wondered this since they good mdma chemists, i assume there would be some LSD ones? would it be easily scored over there or would you have to find people via clubs/bars? always wondered :)
 
I was in Amsterdam in July and used tobacco in my joints in the Grasshopper, Bulldog, the Bluebird, Barneys, Siberie and Amnesia without anyone complaining. Of those coffeeshops, Siberie and the Bluebird had segregated areas for pure green and tobacco/green use. I don't think anyone really cares anywhere though.
