If you don't like the Beatles OR Elvis then there's something wrong with you.

I'm definitely in the Beatles camp. I was never really an Elvis fan, although one of my enduring childhood memories is an Elvis poster in the bedroom of my best friend's older sister (who I thought was the coolest person alive) and a short lecture on why he was the greatest man who ever lived. I was about 9 at the time so I had no idea what she was talking about.
 
I always used to think Stones were more Hardcore than they are when I was much younger.
I learned a few things.

First time I have ever heard that one. As UAN correctly notes. it's always been The Beatles v The Stones.

Elvis is just coming from a completely different place in so many ways and not just in terms of music, energy and attitude.

For me, when it comes to Elvis, it's all about what is said after one says Elvis

I always say Costello
 
I adore The Beatles. The rock my world on a daily basis. Elvis I also love. Not really for his songs [although they're pretty amazing], moreso for his amazingly awesome films, dance-moves, clothes and general style. The man was a legend.
 
I also say Costello. Love that guy :)

For the record I think the Stones suck. So boring!

Bands like them are the reason punk happened though and I'm thankful for that.

Hmmm. I think I've come to a realisation today.

1. I make friends with ~25-30yo women (at music parties and such), and am my normal very chatty and generous self.

2. Women are single hence they adore the attention and are really friendly and outgoing in return.

3. Woman gets bf of some sort (regardless of level of seriousness).

4. I am now of no further use for their ego, hence not worth any time or attention.

Conclusion = only befriend women that have bf's or are married.
 
Well, yeah, that too of course. I'm only having a whinge about this particular subset. I don't like being taken for granted.

I guess now the secret is out I'll have to wrap up this operation and start making all the necessary arrests. It's been a good innings, and to all those I don't put away, I bid you farewell. :)

Anyway THERE IS A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM AND BDO IS ON SALE ALREADY just in case anyone is an eager beaver.
