Managed to cop four bags of good dope today, problem solved. For now. The feeling of doing a fat shot whilst in the midst of withdrawal is fantastic.

chilling at my girlfriends parents house because my parents want to put me in rehab for taking my pain medication.

I think we can ALL go to rehab here. If Bluelight ever manifested a rehab, no matter where it was, I'd find the time and money to come and see all of you there. We'd probably turn a rehab into a relapse convention. >.>;

parents, you can't live with em', but you can't live without em'

that is a littler over the top i agree as i presume your pain medication is not diamorphine. don't get me wrong, pharmaceutical opiates are fully abusable, but heroin is something else...

think of it this way, you will get more opportunities for sex staying with your gf. :D

^this makes my mouth water, but i guess suboxone, xanax, dph, and marijuana will do for now :\

opiates can turn any bad day into a good one!

Boardwalk empire was a little slow, but very eventful. I am making guesses without seeing next weeks preview or the in depth look so bear with me.

Jimmy may have gotten in over his head with manny. One thing with new comers is this: when trying to deal with old timers you have in great disadvantage and that is experience. Manny now knows Jimmy is after him but I'm sure this isn't his first fight. Jimmy may have some serious problems (business and health) with manny. You never know Jimmy could swing it the other way and make it look like Nucky tried to kill him. On the other hand jimmy has ruthlessness and couple that with ambition and you have an extremely good recipe for a life of crime. As long as Jimmy can get manny before manny gets him he will be OK.

One reoccurring theme in this season is betrayal. Eli betrays nucky, Owen betrays nucky and his boss in Ireland, Jimmy betrays nucky and manny. One thing I am going to keep a close eye on is jimmy's right hand man (forget his name). This is the second episode he had questioned jimmy's friendship and it seems he may be kicking some thing around in his head. I would be surprised if Owen a jimmy's man meet each other again formally or informally for a chat.

Whatever the case may be this season needs to kick it up a notch. I'm not sure how many episodes yet have planned for this season but it's moving awfully slow. I am go to watch it again tonight and the sneak peek at next weeks show and draw some more from that.

Jimmy is slipping and needs to pick up on his game. He has so many angles going on with so many people he is starting to make more enemies than friends. His inexperience can bring him down just as quick as a bullet.

I'm also interested in what chalky is up to with this strike. LOoks likes he's gong to try to muscle nucky out or into something. I also would be surprised to see chalky switch side to keep his grip on his position of power.

Mind if I use the social to ask some questions that might not be very fun to discuss? ;) Some of you who may not have registered as long ago as me, but have been more attentive, would likely have a better grasp of this than me.

OD has had a lot of changes of the guard, a high turnover rate. Since maybe 2005, I'll go a couple years without hanging out in OD (sometimes visiting PD more often, or like now, visiting OD a lot and PD very rarely--just depends on my phase), I come back and I don't recognize a single one of the mods. Same experience as usual when I started frequenting OD again recently. No disrespect--the rules are usually enforced equally as effectively and consistently, with perhaps more flaming and amusement during PhreeX's early reign ;)

Why do people usually move on from moderating OD? It seemed like when I registered, the staff stuck around a lot longer. Have the politics gotten rougher over the years? Have events like the exodus we saw last week become more frequent? The ideal reason a mod elects to retire is because they've decided to give up on a habit and coming here answering questions about drug use just only makes it harder, or simply because interest wanes.

I don't think it's only my perception that the turnover rate has grown higher over the years. Has, umm, pressure from those above the admins (whoever the new owners are now that our anonymous primary donor died recently) made the duty less worth the sacrifice of time?

Mentioning PhreeX leads me to a more grim question--have any other OD mods died over the years? It's not merely morbid curiosity--I'd just like to know because during my intermittent stays here I've come to appreciate many past mods who I find have disappeared when I next return.

what it looked like to me is that the mods that were mods when i joined all got Smod positions and they were replaced by more regulars who are now the mods that you see now, and the old mods who got to be smods or admin have all or mostly left except djsim and unknown left as mods before people started moving up.. lefty was leaving but i think is still around. CH is now crew 6/7 i havent seen in a while.. i can't really think of much else.. sorry if i forgot people or missed steps and stuff, i never really thought to keep track of it all. i just went with the flow. hope that helps a lil bit.

i haven't been here nearly as long as you so there are deff gonna be some changes in the time you took a break from the site and i joined so there is some filling in that could be done by someone who has more stripes on their belt than i.. anyone wanna do it?
