Misc OD Is Looking For A New Mod!!

OD tradition lately has been to create a goodbye thread for outgoing Mods in the forum, so when it's official, you'll get yours. Anyone's welcome to create one in an appropriate forum though if they choose not to wait.

Although I may not have a massive post count, or anything like that, I've been around bluelight for a while. Long enough to know that leftwing was a bad ass =D

You'll be missed.

I haven't been around here for that long(hence the reason I am not going to apply), but i know you have played a role in the success of bluelight in general and will be missed. I wish you the best of luck with your addiction, all it comes down to is your will to succeed.

Don't give up, and whenever you check in periodically let us know how your doing, if you don't mind that is.

^ Not really. It's nice when we have Mods in varying time zones. Right now, both of our Aussie mods are gone, so it would really be nice to have someone from that area come on, but that is not the deciding factor when choosing.

In short, it's good to have Mods in different time zones, but we pick our Mods based on who we feel is best for the job.
 
BollWeevel is still a mod right? I've been gone for 3 weeks but I hope things haven't changed that much in this amount of time...
 
He most certainly is and doing a damn fine job too as I'm sure all will have noticed. DJsim laid down his modstick a short time ago and Lefty will be doing the same in the near future. Both outstanding mods but people have to do what they have to do. Onwards and upwards :)
 
Well thats good. Just sorry to hear those guys those. I always had fun joking around with leftwing and djsim was very knowledgeable and his case studies were informative. We have to keep his case studies alive and continue to update them....
 
The case studies thread will most certainly remain a vital part of Other Drugs. Though djsim has moved on to greater things, that thread will not be going anywhere.
 
^^I figured.... I think its definitely a useful and informative part of OD both for HR and for general knowledge on how drugs affect your mind and body.

i'll still be around, brother. just taking a backseat from the mod positions at the moment and working on my own self is all - i'll still drop into the OCD social time to time as well:)

and yeah, the case studies is an invaluable thread that's dj started which i can't see going anywhere anytime soon.

^ Nup. It's only midget pr0n for mods I'm afraid. Smods get access to the dwarven animal pr0n and a few other choice goodies. The Admin pr0n collection is still a closely guarded secret but is believed to be the reason some admin appear to post less as admin than they did as s/mods. Friction burns and hairy palms combined with acute short-sightedness make it harder to see the screen even when they can tear themselves away from the filth.

All the more reason to get those apps in sooner rather than later, folks. Clock's ticking and we want you to make the decision as hard as possible for us. If it's anything like the last time we were looking for a new OD mod it will be a difficult decision indeed.
 
Like Shambles said, the deadline is getting closer. Midnight Eastern Time on May 8th is when the applications are due by. Hurry and get them in if you're interested in the position.
 
I thought johanneschimpo was still a mod.. what happened to his mod status?

Also... I think HdoubleOdeezy or dokomo are intelligent and very good contributers.. I don't know if they want to be moderators though. I'm not too sure if I should apply to be a mod, although I've modded major vB forums in the past as a supermod... heh.
 
We don't really take nominations.

JC hasn't been a mod for what...close to two years now I believe. What stone did you just crawl out from under? ;)
