i was just wondering? im not new to using either drug but i do IV both . there will be months ill go with bangin 2-3bags of dope not much at all but ill stop dope and go back to bangin a 40-80mg of oc and feel higher then i did off the dope , can your tolerance be different from oc to h?

idk though, it's hard to imagine dope that's weak enough that 2 bags IV'd doesn't feel as good as 40 mg oxy. although, i've had dope before where 2 bags insufflated didn't really equal 40 mg oc insufflated.
i guess i'm not really qualified to answer since i don't IV, but that's the only thing that came to mind when i read this, for what it's worth.

tolerance is a factor, but heres what i think
when you do 2-3 bags, each bag doesn't contain the same mg heroin, sometimes you'll get fat bags sometimes skimpy sometimes bomb shit, some times garbage.
but when you do OC, 40mgs is 40 mgs
this is the reason i always thought I got more dopesick from OC than from heroin

so yeah tolerance somewhat plays into this, but i think it's mostly the inconsistency of street dope that your noticing

thankz everyone and yes it should be weighted out but most the dudes in DC sit on the corner and sell 20 or 50s and since h is so light they cant bust out a triple beam to weigh it for you unless you get a really good connect .

you might just like the OC high more, therefore you feel better when you take it. i prefer it as well, its a lot more energetic. i also dont think the tolerance crosses over 100%, so if you are doing a bunch of H you wont get high off 20mg oc, but you might not need the equivalent dose of oxy for your H tolerance. if that makes any sense...

For me, and Im far from experienced with heroin...

Oxy made me happy and talkative, heroin did too
Oxy makes me alert (if Im not nodding) and able to focus, heroin puts my head in the mud (not a bad thing!
Oxy makes me willing to go out to the bar, or bowling, or whatever. Heroin makes me not want to move.

Both are good, and (I know Im gonna get shit for this one) both are surprisingly similar. There are some differences, like ones I mentioned above. But someone not experienced with opiates probably would not be able to distinguish them. The heroin high was much like I remembered a morphine high, which should be accurate considering the metabolization. But each opiate/opioid carries a unique set of effects. They are just often so subtle that they can go unnoticed unless you have experience with each, IMHO.

i dont even do opiates but i can answer your question, cross tolerance is not 100%. so if you switch opiates the first time you do the new one chances are you'll get higher because you has less tolerance for that specific opiate.

not if you are buying heroin on the street when you score on the street you take what you get

if you have a good hookup you might be able to work it out that way but not on the corner

on the street it is sold by the dime or by the twenty most of the time a dime of heroin is about .1 grams or 100mg or a lttle less

at least thats how it is on the west coast of the USA things are different depending where you are located

I think I should just warn any US BLers that if they come to Europe, the heroin over here is STRONG. 10 quid buys you 1/10 (a point) of brown, number 3 smoking heroin that will always be over 50% and often over 70%. If you want to shoot it, you need to add citric acid. It some countries it's MUCH cheaper than 10 pounds, The Netherlands/Italy being the cheapest in western Europe, much less in the east. I think you can get grams for about 15 poinds in Russia and it's always STRONG but watch out, fentanyl cuts are showing up more & more. Tashkent is the number 1 place in the world to buy pure fents, but unless your really 'of the game' they will kill you and take your money...

What? The most common heroin in Western Europe is #2, base. Also, #3 by definition is rarely that high in purity. It is typically over 40% adulterant, usually caffeine to facilitate smoking. So, even if you assume that the heroin in it is 100%, you're already close to 60% overall purity. Of course the percentages vary, but this will give you an idea.

Also, I doubt that street level heroin in Europe is as consistently strong as the street level heroin in the NE US. Any sources for this claim?
