Guys, fighting over this is just silly.
First of all, let's look at last year's trip:
Now, if my memory serves me correctly, DJC* and some others were sleeping in the SPARE ROOM, with the SPARE MATTRESSES. Ask him for yourself - he said it was just fine.
We have 14 people coming, who all paid before we decided together to close the trip.
Nin_fuct is fine with sleeping on a mattress - or she can sleep in my bed if i'm not using it.
So that means that there are 3 people who won't get 'proper beds'.
As far as i can tell, last year it was first to the lodge gets the beds, hence why harasser, Starfalls, and Bitchen got beds last year - they came in my car, and having the key to the lodge it made sense that i arrive there early.
If i recall correctly, the reason DJC was in the spare room was because he arrived there last.
Now i don't want this to turn into some sort of screaming match, and i don't want people to get upset if they miss out because we're all adults here (with the exception of Musby

) and we should be able to come to some sort of reasonable conclusion.
I believe that the first people to arrive at the lodge should get beds. If someone arrives later and particularly wants a bed, maybe they should speak to people and see if anyone would mind either swapping with them, or compromising and letting them sleeping in a bed for a night.
It obviously makes sense that people going to bed earlier should get beds, and those who want to stay up all night should perhaps sleep in in a bed during the day or something, so perhaps you should think about your planned activities during your trip and be reasonable about whether or not you think you should have a bed.
If you strongly object to this, them you should PM me up to the end of August. If there is enough concern about this, then i will implement a hat draw system.
I believe the hat draw system is the fairest way to delegate the beds. everyone's names will be put into a hat or container and then drawn out one by one until all the beds are delegated.
Is there anything i missed?
Oh yes. If anyone is wondering why i should be allowed to bags a double bed for my boy and i, whilst everyone else must just get there early, here is my logic:
I have organised this trip for you. I am not charging anyone anymore than the lodge itself cost me to book. I am taking the time to collect monies and organise it witht he lodge owner, and spent a considerable amount of time trying to get a good weekend. Fortunately for us, because we came last year we were given priority over someof the other groups this year.
For all this effort, all i am asking is that i get to sleep in a bed with my boy. I think that is fair.
If there is any thing else i have missed, then let me know.
