NSW - Bluelight in the snow Mark 2. *REVIEW*

if i find that i by some miracle i have both money and time and moebro is going (considering he is the only person i actually kno out of all the BLs then im up for it... and i'll prob be able to drive there so i will have a couple of seats free if they r needed.... but that all depends if i have time and so forth
 
well if its the first weekend or any weekend in September...me and DJC WILL have a great birthday again!!! ;) lol any times a good time for a party ;)

i will actually make a snow angel this time...i chickened out last time.
 
I am investigating the possibilities of the following:

In Thursday 09 Sept
Out Sunday 12 Sept

I haven't heard back yet, so nothing is official yet, but this is the best i can do at this stage. I realise people want to go for longer, but i know i personally can't afford it, and i am trying to make this trip as accessible as possible.

THis would be a three night stay, therefore $130 pp.

I will let you know as soon as i do. :)
 
heya cosmic, apologies if this has been covered already and i've just forgotten, but when do you think a realistic expectation to have the money in by is? i don't remember what happened last year, except that my money situation was far better than it is currently...thus, just an approximate idea would be helpful.

i understand this could be difficult though, so if you can't nail it down at this stage, don't stress :)

i am looking forward to this though; i really hope i get to go!
 
well, realistically, the sooner the better. I won't take any money until we had settled on a date, and i haven't heard back from the woman yet.

The way it works is that we have to have a 50% deposit to secure our dates. Then after that we have to pay the rest a few weeks before hand, and a $200 deposit whic i will try and pull from somewhere.

I realise that everyone is a bit povo - trust me i am the same. If everyone gets their money to me when i ask, then it will make it that much netter for everyone else. I can't afford to cover for people this time around like i did last time.
 
Any room still left? Cuddlefish and i are interested. Early September is all good as we can organise time off work, but we would prefer at least 4 days as we'd be travelling down from Brisbane, though we can always suss out alternative accomodation if we want to stay for longer.

I'm out if it's between 9th sept to the 12th sept...i'm still at uni then and i can't miss classes etc (unless when the time comes it's not *real* busy and have all assignents handed in etc)
 
I'm out. I want to goto South America in ~8months and dont want to spend the money I've saved for my car money on a trip

my only sugestrionis not before peak season as by the last couple of years the chance of any good snow is lower then
spring has always been my fav time to ski as its warmer then ans the snow although usualy more sticky and not as fluffy in teh powder is still pritty deep and can be a nice chaleng to

but yeah i'll see what i can range as well as still have a few conections up there

oh and so the 5 day option as a 2 days is so not enough of a fix
 
okay people, after a brief sebatical from Aus Social, i have some exciting news....

After 4 months of fruitlessly emailing the woman who owns the lodge, i have finally had a reply.

The booked dates are as follows:

Arrival 09/09/2004
Departure 12/09/2004
(3 NIGHTS )

If you wish to come, it will cost you $130 for the entire stay. This price is based on a 10 person trip. If more come, then the monies will be pooled, and we will discuss what we will do with it later (this could mean having a nice dinner from somewhere etc...)

If you wish to come, then you should PM me and i will PM you my bank account details. You should put the money into my account, and when we have enough for a deposit, i will confirm our booking.

Sooner better than later would be best.

The lodge will hold more than 10 people comfortably. There is a bond of $200, which i will put up myself. If this bond is lost due to the behaviour or actions of someone other than myself, then they will be liable for that loss of bond and will have to compensate me for the loss. (I just thought i would throw this part in now, because i want to make it really clear from the onset, as i don't have that sort of cash to throw away). :)

Everyone had fun last year. Hope to hear from you soon. So far, the rolecall is officially two. ;)
 
ok fuck it count me in too!! pm sent aswell =D i dont know my class days and assigments for that time yet but i usually manange to get them all in mon-wed so fingers crossed it all works out time wise. I've never been to the snow and i so want to go =D
 
I cant make any guarantees. Since I know that I cbf going travelling this yr
