Just because an analogue can be tweaked doesn't mean it will be worth anything more than the differences in side effects. The benzo variations are a good example of differing length, amnesia, muscle relaxtion, inhibition and yet no real appreciably increased benzo effect. Fine enough for tuning patient effects, but not as catchy on the recreational side. One is def shopping for side effect differences. Its useful as another "rut breaker" for long termers trying to bridge maybe? Not real impressed.
This one was made because etizolam got banned in many countries and people loved etizolam. There was another analogue - deschloroetizolam but that one was too weak and didn't work out financially (after all someone has to make a profit).....
Too bad that the fluoro analog never became available. More hypnotic and slightly weaker.

So is the general concensus that an equipotent dose of metizolam produces effects indistinguishable from etizolam? Or very similar?
Or are y'all finding it to be different to a degree which is noteworthy? I really liked etizolam when I had it years ago, but it has been banned in the most of the States that are situated within the close-minded confines of the Bible Belt. Probably because some Congressman's/woman's douche son got caught with etizolam on his person while acting like an ass. Douche kids who act like asses while using substances they shouldn't be using are frowned upon and met with consequences in the Southeastern U.S. So to are the rest of us then who are unfortunate enough to be proximal to said douche and his legislature slinging parent, and their bandwagon riding neighboring buddies, as they nearly tip over from exceeding the worn out old wagon's recommended capacity with their piled high load of reactionary laws and ignorant pride.
