not so much the retaining of the essence of poo ;d
rather.. no longer using shampoo or other products that strip the scalp of its natural oils and pH
it came up again and i'm interested to give it another shot for at least a few months.
i think there might be a balancing out after an initial period of 'ugh, bleh, gross' after maybe a month or so. where people say their hair is healthier than its ever been, it is less dry/frizzy, don't need product or w/e.
supposedly a solution of tea tree oil and water can reduce the itchiness of the scalp initially and perhaps a more pleasant odour. some people are into apple cider vinegar / baking soda.
i'll try to just do water and maybe experiment with tea tree oil at this point. i'm interested to see how it progresses. my plan is to do cold showers only from this point forth, i don't want to get warm water on my hair whilst i'm trialling this idea.
has anyone given it a fair go?
