Nomenclature of 5-methoxy substitutes (recently bumped and merged)

1. O-Methylbufotenin ("OMB" =D). In many of my posts I pointed out that this logical (albeit a bit complex) name for 5-MeO-DMT listed in TiHKAL, as the quote by MGS shows. I think this is fine, especially as "OMB". So how about...

5-MeO-DPT: O-Methylprotenin (OMP)
5-MeO-DiPT: O-Methyldiprotenin (OMDIP)
5-MeO-MiPT: O-Methylmiprotenin (OMMIP)
5-MeO-DALT: O-Methyldaltenin (OMDA)
5-MeO-MET: O-Methylmetetenin (OMME)
5-MeO-DET: O-Methyldetetenin (OME)

The last two are a mouthful ;) then again OME seems to be destined only for comparison studies.

Note that 5-MeO-AMT is already called: a,O-Dimethylserotonin. It would be hard, however, to name all the others after Serotonin, as scientifically convenient as it may sound. It would also be hard to name 5-MeO-AMT after Bufotenin since that would render it, if I'm not mistaken, to a,O-Dimethylbufotenin, which could cause some confusion.

2. Regarding the 4-acetyl esters. The -etin suffix sounds to me more like Murple's idea than it is Shulgin's. The older Erowid classification has 4-AcO-DiPT down as "Iprocetyl".
