There's been plenty of fuck ups. Two people are said to have died after being given bleomycin, and I'm surprised you haven't heard of the elephant man case, caused during the drug trial for TGN1412. Out of 6 healthy volunteers 4 suffered multiple organ failure, and one has gone on to develop cancer. They are unlikely to ever fully recover, and face a lifetime of contracting cancers and all the various auto-immune diseases from lupus to MS, from rheumatoid arthritis to ME.
 
Why do we keep comparing these to weed so much. They are a completely different family of drugs really. The tiniest difference to a molecule can completely change how if effects you. Have a look at the difference between THC and the synthetic cannibinoids.

With the 'massive call' part I was more referring to "These drugs cause much more damage and deaths than the illegal drugs."

One must also consider that the main point of drug trials is to test safety in consenting individuals.
 
agree with leftwing - the only sound harm minimisation advice on this stuff is STAY AWAY.
unless you want to pay exorbitant amounts to be a guinea pig. exploitation any way you cut it.
marijuana is a great thing, but this ain't marijuana. not even close.
 
Lets be honest. Cannabis is a lot safer than Kronic and all these other herbal legal highs. Who knows what JWH drugs do to you health in the long term. I say keep Kronic banned and legalise weed. See how many people end up in emergency then. I know some doctors and the government say cannabis sends people to the nut house but how many does it send to the emergency department.
 
I wouldn't even recommend the use of pure synthetic cannabinoids.

I used pure JWH-073 every day for about 2 months and lost all sensation of temperature in my mouth. I could not tell if a beer was cold in my mouth but could feel that it was in my hand. Couldn't tell if food was warm in my mouth, although it was obviously hot to touch. I have heard of way worse side effects but, that was enough for me to give them up. The temperature sensations in my mouth returned in full with the cessation of JWH-073 use.

Stick to well grown and dried cannabis. If you must provide specimens for drug testing because of your line of work, suck it up and stay off the bud or leave your job.

Being a guinea pig to money hungry vendors just isn't worth your health.
 
^ jesus, that's a strange and scary side-effect.
glad to hear your sensitivity returned...clearly these things are not worth the risk.

i'm kinda curious to know what other ghastly effects these substances have caused.
such a fucked up side effect of the "war on drugs" - people consuming random, untested psychoactives.
we are all casualties of this, even the abstainers.
