Nicest compliment you've received lately

^^I seem to *blush alot* and deny it.. but he was gorgeous himself so it made it alot hader to belive... *runs away*.. MP your not bad urself.. ;)

got told i look like a runway model. Not sure if they meant catwalk runway or airport runway. hahaaa

oh and the same night, i got that I look like a young john malkovich......she said it was a compliment. But i dunno about that one.
 
The nicest... definately made by Pop Popavich, commenting on just how pleasantly surprised and stoked that we've slotted into the group so nicely and how awesome it is to have us around.

One of my patients told me that I had a place waiting for me in heaven... right up the front! I'm not religious at all, but it was such a sweet comment. It's nice to know your work is appreciated sometimes.
 
well, iamtha1 didn't compliment me that i recall, does that mean that i'm 'absolutely fantabulous'? ;)

okay, perhaps not. anyway, i haven't had any specific compliments lately that i can recall, but a lot of friends have told me that they cared about me lately, even indirectly, and it gives me a nice fuzzy feeling inside (i swear it's not the drugs! ;)).
 
I got lots of compliments in Egypt, ie "you have a nice bum"... "you look like an Egyptian"... "are you Swedish??" However they were all from sleazy Egyptians so they don't really count.
 
over the long weekend visiting some friends out bush.

apparently i remind them of Abbie from NCIS :D which is a big flattery to me cause she's fucking hot =D

LOL. I would take that as a compliment, it's not your fault that the person who said it isn't as confident as you. Nicest compliment lately.......that I dress sharp & smart:\
 
Someone once said to me that you should accept a compliment just as if that person had given you a present, as that’s what a compliment is. So now whenever I get a compliment I receive it like a present and feel quite comfortable thanking that person and don’t feel too embarrassed.

Reading this thread makes me just want to go out and compliment people. My group of friends definitely don’t do it enough.

An elderly lady at work said that I should go and tell my mother that she has a wonderful son, and then said that she wished she had a son like me. Made me smile for the rest of the day. :-)
 
My girlfriend asked me today:

"Can you be my new addiction?"

I thought that was quite sweet, in a weird crackhead kind of way. :\
 
I got told that I have the right shaped head to get away with having no hair.

Lucky! Cos it's a bit late to do anything about it if I didn't!

I have 3 compliment-ish comments:

1. When my mummy tells me she loves me in a rare and very random moment. Makes my heart melt cos we don't always see eye to eye.

2. My dad made a drunken comment after i tell him i hardly eat on weekends; 'Well what do you live on? Sex?' I wouldn't class this as a compliment, but it stuck in my head for ages cos my dad is the quiet type.

3. I was at YU on sunday night and this random guy was across the room, trying to make some sort of weird sign-language at me with his hands circling his head. After much confusion and funny looks, he walked up to me and whispered in my ear, 'You are so beautiful..' then smiled and walked off.
